When he is on the boundary all he does it a yell at the players to flood back. When we get the ball there is no one to kick it too. They look so scared to do anything as I reckon behind closed doors little bots is not as smiley as in public.

His frustration is filtering to the players. He has not idea.

The most pathetic coach ever to coach
The most pathetic recruiting ever
The most softest team ever
The most pathetic club board ever

Well cripps looks like he's had enough and who can blame him.

Seeing him frustrated on the bench talking to Doc last week and this week he looks like he's sending a message to the powerbrokers.

The coach has to go

If they haven’t already done so, if I were the Cats I would be making the biggest pitch of all time to Charlie. And if I were Freo or WC I’d be doing likewise to SPS. When you begin to risk losing young talent because of state school coaching standards, then it’s time to bring the next bloke in.

Sakcing Bolton is the soft way out.

Players have to work their way through this.

What corporate pearlers will he spew forth in today's post game presser?

There's lots of layers.

We will acknowledge the positives and challenge the negatives.

Cripps is a warrior.

It's not the safe way out if you believe the guy can't coach.

Very IRRELEVANT, the AFL have come out and stated the goal against Collingwood was touched, nothing mentioned when it happened against us when we played Collingwood. No response from the Club after Maguire mentions we should be talking to Clarkson.

What a joke of a club, we are the laughing stock of the AFL, no one takes us serious.

I'm looking forward to Bolts using the 'positivity sandwich' method

I've got nothing.
I don't believe SOS has done Bolton any favours and he's been the fall guy for the duration of our midfield but today spells the end unfortunately.
You cant have 50 inside 50's for a match and score 4 goals.
We played a spare in defence and allowed Heppell to control the game in a midfield sweepers role. As a result a relatively poor midfield scored 5 goals from clearances.

The apparent lack of appreciation of the small forward role by the list managers really bit the coaches on the arse today.
I feel for Bolts because he endured the hard times coaching an unbalanced team that was more intent on accumulating talent instead of acquiring a team that could remain competitive during the rebuild. SOS took the right approach but it was a hardline approach that was every chance of being a coach killer.
And it appears it's turned out that way.

Gone.

Significant disagreement about approach / development has been festering for a few weeks amongst upper echelons of the club.

The 4 week block of games starting vs Saints were crucial for BB's tenure. Shown nothing, will not survive. Great citizen, great inspirer of u oung men re life skills. No hard edge whatsoever. Real shame, very good person, not right person for these times at this club.

Won't survive past the bye.

SOS cut too deep.

And I do wonder what he saw in the likes of Fasolo, Garlett, Lang and Kennedy.

But either way Bolton hasn't, in my view developed the young players well enough.

Every week we look lost when it comes to basics such as positioning at stoppages and at the drop of the ball. This has been happening all year and hasn't improved. That to me is negligent coaching.

We've got to hope someone at the club actually knows what needs to be done because it's not just Bolton to be fair.

Let's hope the club are prudent with any contract Scott gets.
