The inconsistent performances from rounds seven to 10 show that the message being delivered with such an intense, unrelenting tone is not being heard.

The constant references to what other clubs might do in similar situations has worn thin, too.

The Blues' hierarchy would do well to remember basketball coach John Wooden's famous line that "you haven't taught until they have learned", which means coaches need to accept responsibility for performance rather than constantly demanding in public their players be smarter in certain situations.

Having someone in the club prepared to step outside the tight boundaries that seem to be restricting the natural talent of Charlie Curnow, Jacob Weitering, Sam Petrevski-Seton and Paddy Dow might be a positive.

Appalling management of Schumacher

I've been saying it for over a year - our players are not being 'coached'. They might be being taught to be upstanding citizens and terrific men, but they're not being lead on the footy field.

Yes, good observation.

Just go please!!!!!!

It's not even up for debate anymore. The players are getting traumatised by this clown.

He should do a Scott and walk. At least retain some of his reputation and integrity.

Today's game has broken me.
Maybe Bolton's coaching would bear fruit given enough time, but that luxury is over.

Unless Carlton start winning we're going to lose talented youngsters to teams that do.
We're already losing supporters. In Lil' Miss Wojee II's words "Carlton always suck!"

So when does the rebuild actually start?

The reason I ask is, we've had three and a half years of demolition, wouldn't you think it might be time to start, you know, building

I’m not sure when he will get sacked. But he will get sacked. I can’t see him getting another year now. You just have to win games, even the worst teams can jag a win. We can’t even do that.

Thought we were moving in the right direction but we’re just not. From the North game onwards, it’s just not good enough. Too much talent going to waste.

Surely this clown has to go, if only to teach the players some accountability
From Cripps game and Simpson beng managed after throwing the toys last I think even the players are sick of this fool.
It’s absolutely trash, this excuse for a coach has to go, now or sooner.

We have won four times in 652 days. That is torture to us adults.

I don't know what to say or think anymore.

Get Morrison, we need a miracle.

Truly, where is the light, or the way out of this mess? I know a week can be a long time in footy, but how are we going to get a win?

No way he can survive that effort. He won't come back after the bye.
The players will get their wish. Well I am assuming that's what they want because in the face of his probably getting sacked they aren't playing to save him.
Lowest score against Essendon* for 51 years.
The records just keep on coming.

I posted before the StK game that it was our line in the sand game after the captains circled up the players and that if they didn't win our season would blow out. Well I also posted at half time we would lose this game by 50. We are now a couple of games clear on the bottom of the ladder, Cripps didn't bother to raise a sweat tonight, Walsh had a crack and that's about it for the entire team.
But at least they dropped Daisy. That has to count for something.

Time to sack. Need a fresh message and let the players play. This boundary game is shit.
Not working so may as well attack.

So if it's time to sakc, what or who next?

Or is it so bad that that doesn't even matter right now?

So deflated.

Sums it up for me. Defensive mindset means we’ve lost It without even touching the grass.

It doesn’t matter who. There’s no prize pick, which gives the club even greater incentive to pull the trigger in my opinion.

If I was a player I would be feeling demoralised. That could @#$%&! the club even more.

Spot on.

He’s had 3 + years with most of this group. Im not seeing anything that gives me hope. We look totally over coached to the point of indecision. They seem bereft of any flair or genius. We’ve not found one bolter, a player who’s delivered a break out year.

3 + years and our brand is toxic. Our football brand is valueless.

I’ve been on board, but now, I am without hope.
