Not sure about playing two rucks but can't leave Kreuzer on his own to battle Grundy. We have to start to live without the great deflator, may as well be now. Murph must be dropped to draw a line on the sand on unacceptable efforts.

North aren’t that good but I’m expecting Collingwood to do much the same. Then again, it could be a lot worse.

Need to try something different this week. How has Patty Kerr been going for the NB's?...…..anyhow he can't be worse than Casboult and needs to be given another chance so we can make a decision on him at the end of the year.

I don't think we will go that far. Most likely if Kreuze and McGovern are right:

In: Kreuzer, McGovern, Setterfield

Out: Jones (Inj), Phillips, Gibbons

Setterfield comes in as another big body to help Cripps, as Kreuze will too. I expect a semi honourable 5 goal loss.

Personally I would drop Murph, but our club is weak as in making statements like that.

Assuming Jones misses, what do we do? Go the ‘one out, one in’ route and play Casboult, Goddard or McGovern in defence? Or do we play Marchbank or Plowman as key defenders and one of our mids pushes back to defence? I predict we’ll go with the former. Goddard is no world beater but he has been solid in the VFL as a key defender.

I get the impression Russell takes a conservative approach to injuries, so I doubt Kreuzer and McGovern will play. Kennedy might come in for Gibbons or O’Brien, but my concern with that is Kennedy inability to spread.

Big game for Charlie. Darcy got him good in the JLT so let's see how he responds.

Won't drop Murphy, and that's exactly what's wrong with this club.

A response to Murph has to come from the players. When it does we'll know we've improved the culture.

As far as Goddard coming in goes, I'd say it all depends on whether or not Mason Cox comes back in
