Great 1st half. Really liked the strong defensive set ups, to help control the lead. Jones and Weitering have been terrific. Cripps relatively quiet, which shows how we've played. Feel like we've now become a decent quality AFL team. Looks like the players are starting to believe as well.

Thought McEvoy got back into the contest. Although Levi smashed Roughead when he was competing against him in the ruck.

Was it the same muppet commentator who didn’t know O’Brien was a left footer when he lined up for goal?

They got 15 inside 50s but our pressure has stopped them getting it in cleanly hence just the one goal. We got 2 got into a slight breeze and are really making them work like shit to defend.

Just cost a goal by calling ballup way earlier than the league average, just as SOS was released for a 15m snap.

Then called holding the ball when SOJ had no prior

YES!! Glad I'm not the only one who saw that.

Pity he missed that goal.
Should have been a gimmee for someone with his skills.
Same with the LOB on his left.

Could have been two more goals in front.

Ed to O'Meara as others have said and the whole game changes.

Kreuzer spent a lot of time on the bench that half I thought.

Love the way they are taking the game on and backing up.
Looks like a completely different team.

You reckon they dominated it? I feel like we had it in our half more. Became a real contested scrap and neither team could score. I thought it was a pretty even quarter

They don't know what to do when we are winning. Hard wired into the tragic Blues, under 100, we're no good mindset.

Job’s not done yet. Hawks will have a plan and we need to keep the game on our terms.

SPS backing up his game last week in tougher circumstances. Intensity right up. It’s like he’s realised what happens when you hunt the footy

their inside 50's & contested possessions, tackles, were all up and beat us ... they stifled the middle and locked us down. but, they couldn't score on us.

if we can kick ahead this qtr with the win, we can win it by 3-quarter time!

Like to get a few more goals from genuine crumbers. But really like the difference SOJ has made, since he returned last week. Just a smart player. And despite his relative slowness, applies terrific pressure.

Yeah; we cut out the thing where we keep the ball in our forward 50 for a spell but don't score, then the opposition gets it out and whips it down the other end for a goal, taking the wind out of our sails.

All we have to do is match them for the second half and we win. We don't have to chase the game, just break even.

I hope you’re not talking to the players at half time. That mindset is how you lose again. Game starts again. 0-0
