Murphy at the death.
Ed missed shot.
McKay poor kick early just like last week.
Charlie fumbles marks like in Round 1.
Gibbons too slow for a small forward.
Dow misses by foot most times.
Players who kick long to a midget.

It's not one incident.
It's a lot of incidents.

The problem BB has is if we keep losing no OOC star will come to us.
Which means trading our first pick might end up a disaster.

Hopefully Wallsy is as ruthless as he was when coaching.
Everyone talks about how we can't kick 100. Well the stats show we are scoring less than last year. We've gone backwards.

Me too.
I was at the game and both sides missed plenty of chances however Ed Curnow shouldn't have missed that easy goal near the end.

Just home from the game.. on the drive I wanted everyone sacked - the AFL, The groundstaff and the lady who sold me my ticket.

Now I'm just whinging about staring into the sun all afternoon - why they have afternoon games up here I will never know.

Jones was very impressive live, glad I got to see him in action.

actually like a lot of our defense today.

But thats about it

You win some, you lose some...

Oh wait.

All the reasons you list are why we were less than a goal up with 13 seconds left. And all of them are valid criticisms. But one action 13 seconds from time would have changed the result.

I'm going off stats reported in an article last week.

Assuming your stats are right, those numbers corroborate the point I made earlier.

All we are doing is playing a negative game plan. We are hugging the boundary and kicking long.

I assume this is designed in part because we have a young midfield who can't run out games like seasoned opposition midfields. So it makes sense on the one hand.

But the scoring hasn't increased much. And we don't look like scoring.

Ultimately we haven't won and with the game style we have it's going to be hard to win many games.

All BB has done is reduce the scores against by instilling a negative game style.

If he doesn't get wins soon we become even less attractive to a Shiel type prospect.

He says Amos has done well with the backs.

Doesn't mention the forward coach. But he mentions the disconnect with ball use forward of centre.

By not mentioning the forward coach he's essentially pointing the finger.

Or the midfield coach. Depends on your POV I suppose.

The subtle blame game.

I don't agree with the SPS criticism. I thought he was decent. At least he went hard late. Showed some real hunger. Shame Charlie doesn't have that fire in the belly.

Raises a good point. I mean to what extent is a head coach responsible for the poor performance of an assistant coach? Is it BBs fault our players are stupid and kick long to a midget all the time? Including the captain BTW.

Cannot agree sorry. That was the worst standard game that I have ever seen. Whether we had won or lost it by a kick would have been irrelevant to me.

Pressure on the coach? There should be as 66 games should not leave us as the worst team in my memory (and I am older).

Pressure on the recruiting? Hell yes. Everyone can get pick 1 right nowadays. SOS seems to be convinced that when he picks someone like Jarrod Pickett at 4 for the GWS, who didnt play a game, that judgement is transferable. His skill set consists of having every pick in a draft and getting a few right but many wrong. I think Lachie Whitfield would have been everyone's first choice.

I think he stays because he's the only bloke on our @#$%&! list who appears to be able to pick the @#$%&! thing up first grab without fumbling.

I completely agree that the game was woeful. Atrocious. But one action at the end would have changed an atrocious loss into an atrocious win. And a win, no matter how bad, is better than a loss

A positive for me is that it was the worst performance in the history of the universe (according to TC anyway), yet we only lost by 2 points and would have won if McGovern had been standing 5 meters further back.

Don't bother Effes. They're too busy making shit up to worry about the truth.
Hell, apparently reducing scores against is now a negative.
