Carlton Cats.

Selwood, Duncan, Kelly, Menegola, and Dangerfield. Midfield fixed with leftovers.

We get Tuohy back.

Trade Hawkins. We get the Henderson pick. Again.

Do it.

If we can get Gaff as a FA as well as McGovern and pick 8 or 13 for pick 1 I'll be happy.

We can then clear out the likes of Rowe, Casboult, Jones and maybe pick up a couple of 2nd rounders for some more mids.

Agree , furthermore I'd throw 2019 1st Rd top 5 most probably , at GWS for Sheil too. Package 8 and 13 hoffulky sneak into top 5 , have a shot at Max King if he's as good as Daniher at same age it's done.
Target Setterfield and Brodie either would be fine.

I like throwing 2019 1st rounder at GWS for Shiel...and hope GWS win the flag.

You'll miss out on Walsh in the midfield trading Pick 1.

Cripps, Gaff, Shiel, Dow, Walsh Fisher, SPS, Kennedy, Murphy and Lang as a midfield group. Wow. With that lot I see midfield dominance. Doc could go in there too to mix it up, and Charlie tot to scare the shit out of the opposition with the hulking Cripps and Curnow with Walsh/Dow or Gaff/Shiel with the takeaways.

It all depends on Gaff and Shiel which way we go. Plus we have 2nd rounder and possibly PP for other mids too.

Are the mobile McKay, Charlie and DeKoning enough as our tall targets? If we got Gaff and Shiel, maybe Lukosious is more important.

Can't get enough mids, and a good forwardline coach whose in sync with Mids coach.

Expect Mitch McGovern, Jordan Gallucci and pick 8 to be on the table for pick one.
Adelaide will come hard and will offer the above for pick one.
If we can land Dahlhaus with FA and the above names along with pick 8, that's a great start for 2019 and beyond.
I would also chase, Jack Scrimshaw, Arran Hall and Jayden Hunt.
2019 could be,
Simpson Weitering Plowman
Docherty Marchbank Williamson
Hunt Cripps Fisher
Hall Charlie Dow
SPS McGovern Dahlhaus
Kreuzer Hannebery
From; Gallucci LOB Byrne Scrimshaw
Pickett Murphy 8..

The other one i would chase is Dan Hannebery.
Still has at least 3 or 4 years left. Great experience to help the kids. The bloke is 27 and will add what we dont have... hardness around the pill, minus Crippa.
Doesn't haveto be quick just experience for the boy's.

Imagine adding these boys to our list.
McGovern, Gallucci, Dahlhaus, Hunt, Hall, Hannebery, Scrimshaw and pick 8....

I'd rather Brad Crouch to Galluci. We need to add players around the 24-25 year age bracket.
Crouch has injury issues but at his best, he's a midfield gun. After missing all of 2018, he's obtainable IMO.
I'm not a fan of Hannebery.

I'm not a big fan of Hannebery not sure he shows the type of leadership we need

The rest sounds ok but like BV prefer crouch to be part of deal and McGovern another hff don't think we need

Dan Hannebery looks like the new Daisy Thomas the way he has fallen off the cliff. Way to much risk after being burnt by getting Thomas as a big money signing as Hannebury has really struggled to run the last 2 years.

Like McGovern but he's not worth dropping an elite A plus grader this draft at pick 1 for pick 8 and a throw in player.

Use #1 to get the best mid - Walsh
Lets not fall into the trap of getting getting the short term fix.
Keep collecting the top quality otherwise we're not going high enough to win a flag.
If you just want to play a few finals over the next 3 years then trade for picks and players.
I want the cup....

Plus, I don't want Adelaide anywhere near number 1 just to spite them.

They have never done us any favours...why should we in return?
