For a quality ball-user, O'Brien's kicking has been awful. Shows the depth problems we have. Obviously needed a run at VFL level before coming back.

The moment came when Rich kicked the ball out of defence to nowhere and Roberton decided to go at the ball while Dale Thomas stood and watch him while waiting for the nice bounce. If you are going to give that type of effort please retire and do not return to the field after half time.

Players like Fisher and Polson have to put their bodies on the line while senior players provide those embarrassing efforts.

IMO before we sakc the coaches we need to at least seriously review the people in charge of our players' physical development.

I didn't expect us to win today. I just really, really hate the way so often this year we simply haven't given ourselves a chance (in games where we have a competitive chance) due to extreme levels of incompetence either tactically, or with effort and skill.
