Great effort and great to see the boys get reward for their efforts. We’ve got a long way to go but I’ll gladly take the win.

On a separate note, our game can be saved, if the actual rules of the game were enforced. There was never conditions on incorrect disposals. Pick it up and drop it? Dropping the ball.
And as for the crack down on forwards blocking, what about defenders? Heaps of times both sets of defenders aren’t even watching the ball.

What a great weekend. Beating Essendon* and first Mother's day! Watched the game again last night!

Our tackling game was on point yesterday! Especially from the big guys too! Harry McKay and Kreuzer especially.



Also, one thing ive noticed from the past 3 or so weeks is the leadership of Cripps. Watch him closely. He is constantly going up and talking to the players. I love it!

it can't be understated, Cripps leadership. he does everything right. he lifts the players around him, and i dare say his own game has gone up a notch too. he finished every tackle he started yday.

the tackling was the best bit yday. it's been missing all season long. when we tackle and pursue the ball, we're good to watch. bolton's biggest task is getting this young mob to play hard at it like that every week.

Maybe a few players did not turn up because they did not want to be reunited with Hird and Bomber if they showed up.

Michael Long had a good excuse as he has been in hospital in Darwin for a month with meliodosis - otherwise known as Nightcliff Gardeners disease.
