Speaking of Sheedy. Loved the way Fox cameras crossed to Wallsy in the crowd a couple of times

Essendon* supporters would've loved that

Yep, you just can't do that as Umpire ribs are made of paper and they might die.

BUt on precedent that's a week.

It's 9 weeks on precedent.

I'll never forgive the AFL or the media for the Diesel stitch-up in his final season. Bastardry!

Yep ...... Carlton vs Essendon*. Carlton player touches umpire. 9 weeks. Same same.

The biggest stitch ups have always been AFL v Carlton.

Absolutely falling apart as a Club.
They’ve got Geelong, GWS (away) and Richmond over the next 3 weeks.
Strap yourselves in boys and girls.
This is gonna be good lol.

Not happy about the prospect of them getting Rankine or Lukosius.

Pros:
Not wanting to sound goulish....Levi’s injury last week. Opportunity presented to change things up.
Ed excellent. He has had a consistent year thus far
Thomas was steady
Charlie lead the forward line.
Tippy woody wasn’t an a### breaker as is his want against us
Win was a relief for all...players, executive and fans

Cons:
Low standard of footy from 2 bottom 4 teams
Crowd for our home game was as poor. Powerhouse teams???

Finally controlled the momentum post the 20 minute mark in all quarters, mostly worked. Didn't cop any critical goals in junk time.
Boys are learning.

Graham was OK too I thought.
As was Lamb.
SPS... For God sake... Don't look... Just Do!
Like Fisher last year, he looks to give it off at every stage. Take the responsibility..... The result was excellent in the last

Go Blues

I feel sorry for their supporters after what they've been through over the past few years.
Their club has never really been honest with them and they are suffering as a result.
They have been loyal and understanding in the face of some pretty bad times.
They honestly believe their club did nothing wrong because they are being told that by all and sundry and then this year they were led to believe they were a genuine finals prospect. They've suffered needlessly.
And if you have read this far and think I am serious........

We love our Lamb!

Seriously this guy will end up being one of the all-time hated players in league history if he keeps getting games for us. Absolute serial pest, guaranteed to get under the skin of opposition players and supporters alike.

And if he keeps popping up with goals and assists like he did tonight - long may it continue.

Pros:

We won.
Essendon* lost.
Best defensive effort for the year. Jones was excellent.
Cripps. Great to see his leadership rewarded today.
Kreuzer. Good to see him moving more freely again.
Ed and Charlie.
Lamb. Just wish he'd play with close to that intensity more often. Seems to fire up after a spell in the 2s. But doesn't seem to last.
Apart from his goalkicking, really liked LOB's game.
Every week Harry does half a dozen things that really excite me.
Simmo's kicking was much better today.
Lang looks like a good player to me.

Cons:

Some sloppy kicking for goal from set shots.

a few things i thought.

Can cripps become captain effective immediately? he's the best leader we've had in over a decade (better than judd). speaking of judd he stood down to allow someone younger to take the reigns, murphy should do the same but not wait until the end of the season to make it happen.

kruezer 90% fit is a difference maker.

charlie & McKay are the closest thing resembling a forwardline since fev. I've been a big backer of casboult, he gives us a target and straightens us up. but he's not a footy player. he's not mobile enough to contribute anything if he's not marking it. watching the forwardline yday, the balance of mckay and charles is actually effective. Cas should only play from here out if there's injury.

back to reality. beating Essendon* is always fabulous; but them, us and brisbane have quite a distance to the rest of the league at the bottom. us and brisbane at least have a future with lots of talent and potential out there. Essendon* not at all

i also propose that the mods here change "Essendon**" to "lol_essendon" at once.

Pros:

- The cheating 1993 'premiers' were gathered at the G to watch that
- The 1968 premiers were gathered at the G to watch that
- Lamb. The pest we have been crying out for for years, & is also a pretty handy linkman in general play I reckon
- Umpires didn't seem to murder is from where I sat
- Kreuzer was just enormous

Cons

- That goal to TippingAWoody in the last should've been a free to Jones on the wing earlier in the play, as I saw it

Think you got Dow and O'Brien mixed up there. Otherwise... what the others said.

Yeah you're all right. I'm jetlagged A-F after 3 weeks in the Middle East and couldn't make it to the game unfortunately. Could barely keep my eyes open watching it on the phone in bed.

In particular I would like to offer sincere apologies to cimm1979 - please, please forgive me.

Is it true they only got 13 players to their 93* reunion, and then forgot that David Grenvold played and failed to announce him so he stormed out?

Omg.. I did. And I do feel sorry for any that are disgusted with their club for the drug scandal. (Echo echo...crickets)
