A guy on twitter has attempted a breakdown of Carlton's defence. There's probably a few isolated incidents in there and a few things he's missed but there are some good points such as how aggressively we're pressing forward and how it can make you vulnerable on the switch. Worth a look anyway, read the comments to see all his posts.
Nice analysis. Thanks for posting....

Another reason why I hate watching on TV. You see a kick to a free player with no idea how that happened....

Dear MR BB I know your sales pitch , clichés, one liners and gobble de goop seems to have sucked in almost every one.
But as of this day forward the gig is up.
Lets face it Bolts without your one liners and punch lines you've got nothing.
I know you think we are on a journey. (Code for I will milk this for as long as I can )
But in 2 years time Curnow will be at Geelong.
Crisp will either be s cripple or playing in the west .SPS will have suffered a bout of home sickness.
You see Mr Bolton you cannot plan for 4 to 5 years ahead chopping 42 players and going to the draft isn't a one way ticket to success.
Mr Bolton you have been found wanting you're bullshit just doesn't cut it anymore.

Bolton succumbed to pressure and has deviated from his defensive game plan because a number of players (our captain) botched about playing a dour game style.

This list is not ready nor smart enough to play anything other than a defensive game style.

I still have faith in Bolts, but he's got a lot to learn and the list is a few years away from being competitive. With Carltons coaching history I cant see him lasting, we will succumb to public pressure and hell get the chop in the next year or 2.....and we will be back to square one.

Do they give refunds on memberships?

Yep, but at least the bloodlust of a few impatient sad sacks will be sated.

And yet Andy McKay... Everything he's touched has turned to gold...... :donk: :donk:

Bolton is definitely in line to be the next scalp, whether fairly or not

I still believe in Bolton but it's now abundantly clear that he's gone too early with the new game plan... clearly he's succumbed to external pressures but players have NFI what they're doing out there.

With the loss of Doc, no Gibbs and plenty of youngsters out there, one more year of defensive structures would've been far more beneficial for this group.

Yes hindsight has 20/20 vision and wtf do we know as supporters and all that... but wtf are they doing up in the coaches box?

Few years away maybe but after the last two years you expect 10th-11th with 9-10 wins. With our attitude, commitment and couldn't care less attitude you go no-where even if you had a great list on paper. If you can't get a side to even do that then unfortunately you're shot as a coach.

They have NFI what the plan is (if there is one). I haven't seen such a disoriented group since Pagan put a bunch of 4th grade hacks out on the field.

I don't think it matters if we believe in Bolts or not, the important things is, do the players believe in Bolts.

I hope they do.

I still think he's the right one for us.

Bloody young and inexperienced team out there tonight.

Bolton in his presser saying its not what we stand for.
Seriously he is clueless.
You spend 2 years telling the players it is ok to lose then this is what you stand for.
Successful football teams are built by a group of mates all working as one.
These players will be flat out knowing the guy standing next to them in the locker room we turn so many over.
As bad as Pagan and Malthouse was this guy is worse there could be no coming back from this in our life time.
Complete change of culture to a losing culture
