Young side with no confidence, I don’t see a side not trying, just a side who have lost cohesion and form for the moment.

You get to learn a lot about players in hard times

Can’t kick, handball mark or tackle effectively, makes it tough

So are we playing better without Murphy? I've banned myself from watching footy

The kids need time
The thing that continues to frustrate me
Is we continue to recruit players from other clubs who simply
Belong in a lower standard of football
Plowman
O’Shea
Shaw
Mullet
Kennedy
It’s shit
Why no play Mc Credieiwith Marchbank is out

I understand giving Jones an extension but not 2 years
How many times has this happened over the years

For whatever reason we're horribly out of form, lack confidence and simply unprepared. Coaches need the spotlight on themselves.

But make no mistake we've got a lot of really talented kids who WILL find their way.

Lead would be less if we didn't have the three stooges down back. Plowman seems to be loose a lot but does nothing. Just runs around and gets the odd kick in.

We're scoring less this year with our 'offensive' game plan than what we were last year with our 'defensive' structure. Bolts its not working.

We are cooking these kids. I can see one or two wanting out at end of the year.

Starting to doubt Bolton can take us to the promised land. Our lack of leadership is glaring.

We have x1 quality experienced mid. That's almost unheard of. In fact I think it is unheard of. But that doesn't excuse how poorly organised we are down back. Brown must be laughing inside. Whoever our defense coach is should resign. Plowman and Weitering keep stuffing up together or find ways to not even get near it together.

There is no quick, easy fix.

We have to cop our medicine.

For how bloody long? Another 10 years?

Exactly! This is is one of the reasons why this club has sunk to be stuck in such a mire of bad football and performances. Its we are rebuilding, we have kids playing, we have injuries, everything except making the players and the coaches and administrators accountable.

Plowman is a good example of where we continually get it wrong

Many thought he would be a key player for the next 10 years

Our once high standards have slipped badly

Fast approaching #ECO for this season.

(Although it worked for Richmond a couple of years ago)

I think the club is well aware of this, that's why we drafted mids with our 2nd and 3rd picks last year. And not a flakey half back flanker and a project ruckman.

[quote="Sydney Blue"]Nothing to see here everything going exactly according to plan.
We are on a journey and being 5 goals down to most people picks as wooden spooners is just part of the journey.
We are not measured by wins and losses.
We are not going to get to high and low.
There is no need to catastrophise things .
This is what the supporters asked for 2 years ago and we are not going to deviate from that plan

Will he be saying that 10 years from now and still showing no sign of being anything other than cellar dwellers? The propaganda pill. Would be easier to swallow if there was signs of improvement. Guess what, there isn't!

As poor as our defence has been Plowman is hardly the problem.

At least another 10 worse

This is our worst patch of form under Bolton, it isn’t good but what do you want to happen now. Mass sackings?

Should have kept Gibbs

We will continually get pummelled this year

Will set us back 2 years

You can't give up all your senior players in the name of a rebuild. I can't help but feel we are the dumbest club in the history of the game. First we keep trading away draft picks for players. Then the "experts" say you have to build through the draft so we do a complete 180 and give away all our decent players for draft picks. If we're not the most reactionary club there has ever been I don't know who is. Who is there for these kids to learn from? Or even just protect them? We're going to ruin these kids because it's a sink or swim environment. I just shake my head in disbelief.

the reality is, if this trajectory continues the 5 or 6 blue chips we have here, will all want out for their next contract. i mean why would you stay?

coaching, board, ceo right down to the multiple passengers we take the field with every weekend. there's very little joy here, and there's been very little in over 15 years.
