Could be an idea, or meet at Richmond station.

Oops, I just did, which tipped the scales towards the Harmes medal. Sorry

Gezman, all Fifa World Club Championships are being televised on Fox Sports (Foxtel). Liverpool is playing tonight against Deportivo (the guys that beat Sydney) at 9pm and is live on Fox Sports 1. Go the Mighty Reds!!!!

It looks like it will be known as the Harmes Medal then.

I have to give it to my mate now so that he can get it engraved for me

I would like to share a true story of what happened to me when I was younger. When I was 16yo (about 20 years ago), I went to see the the mighty Blues against the magpies at Waverly Park with a few mates. We caught the bus from Clayton station to the ground. One of my mates who was with us, was also the nephew of Bruce Doull, the ever reliable Flying Doormat. As a side note, I remember that same mate of mine telling me at the time that Bruce Doull was so good at golf (I think he was almost off scratch), that he probably could of been a professional golfer! I'm glad he stuck to footy! Anyway, the Mighty Blues won that day, and after the game we had a kick on the ground, which was near the centre square. As we were kicking it around, someone from our group happened to miskick the ball, which landed not far from us, but near some filth supporters, who were also around 16 years of age. We asked for the ball back, but what did those turds decide to do, they decided to look for trouble by not giving the ball back and wanting to fight with us. We ended up having a punch up because they wouldn't give the ball back and the police who were along the boundary line came in and stopped the trouble. All we were doing that day was having a kick and minding our own business. From that day on these filth supporters have left a real bad taste in my mouth.
So what do I personally want this Sunday? I want us to go out on Sunday, run hard, kick and handpass and look out for each other. I want us to commit ourselves for the cause and never be left wondering "if only I had....". I want us to keep our ears open and listen for that call in the background from our teammate that's running past. I want us to have peripheral vision and see what's happening around us. Is there someone on the lead? Is there a free man? Can I kick it to someone in a better position? Let's not be greedy. Let's not be selfish. Let's work as a team. I want us to give 110% for that navy blue jumper, that same jumper which has been around for over 100 years. Come on TC, let's smash that black and white magpie team.
FIRE UP!!!!

i just got back from an awesome day out with PJ and Clint. after having a kick after carlton training, on optus oval :P , and after browsing the carlton shop, we headed to lexus centre to find that the lines were being freshly painted for our game. We had a good kick around on there aswell and got ourselves even more pumped. clint is a freak infront of goals and PJ's marking ability overhead is first class. Not to mention his eddie betts type snap goals (and celebrations  )...... bring it bitches!!!

Cheers, Budzy.

Was a good little hitout today. Stopped by OO for a quick look at training. All three of us were under the impression they were training at Caulfield Grammar, but alas, they were at OO. After a bit of a look around in the Carlton shop and a bit of lunch, we headed on down to the Lexus Centre to check out the ground.

The lines were being marked out as we walked on to the ground to have a kick. The ground is in MINT condition and is very spacious. We spent a good 40 minutes on there having shots on goals. Just having a kick on the ground we are going to be playing on, especially with the lines marked out, got us all pumped up.

Rest up over the next 48 hours and drink plenty of fluids.

what's the surface like under foot? is it hard? I had a kick there about a year ago and it was as hard as a cats head!

Just a warning for everyone that is driving to the game they will sting you for about $7 for parking.

Update on the Harmes Medal - My mate brought it back to me today and the nob spelt Harmes as Harms  I am making another trip to get another medal and get it engraved tomorrow. I will make sure I bring it down for the game

BTW, just wondered how do these games usually get umpired? Strict, very lenient, or somewhere in the middle?
