Some late pick we didn't use. Moronville.

Not really. Moronville would have been telling a bloke he on his last chance, having him lie to management and the coach's face and then not showing him the door and watching every other players respect for management and the coach walk out the door instead. He gave us no choice. Sadly.

Like repeatedly telling the media beyond all doubt you didn't call a player a rapist, when its clearly visible on film for all to see?" And after being caught out by all and sundry, still trying to deny it?
Then we had the temerity to sack a player for lying to the liar.
Spare us the moral lecture. Whilst Malthouse was at the club, we had no right to take the moral high ground.

We all hate Mick but you realise your post makes no sense right?

Hire Malthouse who lied to the media = we should have accepted lies from players who break club rules.

There is no lecture here. No moral high ground. He broke the club rules and got sacked. All good.

Old Jezza Laidler made NEAFL AA this year. Seems Swannies' form sky rocketed after he got dropped.

SOS was more than happy to trade away KJ when at the Giants because he knew he was no good.

I'd be surprised if Boakhurst survives as SOS could not believe we recruited him in the first place.

This the same SOS that drafted KJ with a first rounder?

Not sure delisted players burning us could be classed as typical.

Doubt we will be offered anything for him. Even from the Pies. Not matching FA deals have hurt us I guess.

Laidler and Robbo the only ones to kick on and we had no choice with Robbo.

Gartlett wasn't on the list. Not sure why. Same deal as Robbo. 3 strikes your out.

That's 31 out of the last 34 we've delisted who haven't "burnt us". Only one mistake from the last 34 delistings.

The more I think about that pretender Malthouse, the more I feel he deliberately sabotaged the Blues whilst being paid $1M per annum. FMD.

I don't give a shit how many flags he's won as coach.
I know Eagles were gifted a State Squad for him to coach.
The Pies manipulated the draft to get 2 first rounders (Pendles and Daisy) whilst Eddie got Malthouse whatever he wanted to ensure he had the squad to "lead".

Malthouse was and is a fraud.

SOS wasn't the only one who rated KJ.
With a plethora of 1st round picks he didn't sweat on his choices like we do, having only 1.

KJ's decline has nothing to do with SOS.
We targeted KJ after he destroyed Waite.
Pick 7 got the job done.

I doubt very much we'll regret getting rid of Jaksch.
Clearly, if he hasn't been picked this season, given our need and his (albeit sporadic) good form in the VFL, there must be a pretty strong reason he has failed at two clubs which invested his picks on him.

I notice that Yarran didn't turn out that great for Richmond, and Troy Menzel is not exactly tearing it up at Adelaide. and these two were traded away probably for similar reasons to KJ, although it appears to a different degree: they are not putting in the effort required to get the most out of their talent.
These values seem non-negotiable for BB.

It is a terrible shame that KJ has not delivered for us and our fault for being lured by his promise Winton giving up a valuable pick 7 where we might have picked up Peter Wrigh or Jake Lever. That sad, GWS used the pick on Paul Ahern who hasn't done anything.

Also, I think Boekhorst showed enough in the last few weeks to justify another 1yr contract and so far, he has not completely been shown up by Laverde who I really wanted us to take at he time. Yes, I realise Laverde still has big wraps on him but on exposed form, we didn't completely strike out in that head-to-head....

GWS drafted him at pick 12 and traded him for pick 7 when he requested a trade home. :?
I fail to see how a KPP getting a game at the highest level at 18 years of age is classified as failing.

From the outside looking in you have to question where the coach has drawn the line re player behaviour/standards when it's cost the club a talented 22yo kpp who's performed solidly in the 2's...?

The issue is we could have had both.

There has been little, if any, progress made in securing Casboult, an unrestricted free agent. Casboult is after a pay increase, with his management indicating the power forward, who is one of the league's best pack marks and can play ruck, is worth about $600,000 a season.

Would give him 60,000.
