Jaksch may get a go through a process of elimination! Macreadie played well... But it was a bad game for the NB all round... No mids so the ball coming in non stop... Gave Macreadie plenty of chances...
I think the test will be how well we hold up for the last few games.... Injuries aside...
Don't want to see any insipid performances.
We lost today due to the skill errors, but at least we played it out.

MacReadie was stiff to miss anyway. Be very surprised if he doesn't get another go, unless Marchbank is good to go.

Yup. Im on the Lions @ $2.55.
For as bad as they seem this year, they are actually averaging better scoring per game than we are. (82.43 Vs 72.56) Zorko is having a sensational season and Eric Hipwood is gonna be a superstar.

I actually thought they did very well against Richmond.

Plus im expecting to line up without the likes of Silvagni and Bryne. (Gotta feel bad for Silvagni).
Is Marchbank expected back or has McKay given him the dreaded 1-2 weeks curse?

*Note: Threeway days are over sadly :-( The missus wants to start trying for kids...........

If I was a betting man I'd be all over those Brisbane odds. Bargain of the century!

I see this as our last chance for a win in 2017. Sorry for being negative, but we've reached the end of our rope for this season; we just don't have the strength to play out the full 22 yet.

Bears by 16.

OMG - I cannot believe the pessimism on here! If our boys showed that kind of attitude on the field you'd all be calling for blood!

For a second, I thought we were playing the worst team in the comp w 3 wins and 69%?

I thought we just lost to last year's Premiers by just 20pts even though everyone agrees it was one of our worst performances of the year. And the two weeks prior, we basically lost by a kick to the finals bound Demons and lost by 2 kicks to the ladder leaders??

Yes, we've lost a few players but our system is mostly holding up well and the system means we are less reliant on individuals than we used to be.

And, FYI, even without Cripps, I'd still take Kruezer, Murphy, Gibbs w Docherty ahead of Martin, Beams, Zorko & Rockliff.

Geez, get a grip people. We are way better than Brisbane and it will be mighty devastating if w don't win.

Get it together FFS!

We will lose because we cant kick more than 12 goals and Brisbane can!

Sides might in other games but struggle to score against us. Since round 5 only one side has kicked 100 against us, and even then we kicked 96. Even Adelaide, who sore so freely on got 13.
