I can understand getting annoyed at losing to Richmond again, but FMD some chill pills definitely needed in here.

Smedts is a joke. Geelong are laughing at us.

Why? We take a salary hit for Marchbank.

No one is laughing at us.

Murphy had a team high of 26 pressure acts on Sunday.

Some of you guys only see what you expect to see.

He won't be available this week. VFL tribunal.

That's true, he already is a gun defender....

But we absolutely gave Tuohy away, and Geelong were the beneficiaries (they might only drop 3 spots or less in the draft, as well as offloading a list clogger on their list)!

And Tuohy might play for another 7 or 8 seasons, which is great for the Cats again!

OMG. The sky's falling. How our team of duds couldn't get closer than 4 goals to a top 6 side is astonishing.

Sakc Bolton.
Sakc Lamb for getting knocked out.
Sakc Williamson, Fisher, Rowe, ASOS, and Sumner for getting injured.
Sakc SOS for recruiting Palmer and Smedts.

You forgot to sack Cunners :yikes:

We simply had too many passengers.....which happens a bit with losing sides. The previous week we had not one passenger. It's no biggie really.

Liam put in his 3rd good game on the trot, and that's a huge bonus.

SOS backed himself into a corner when he couldn't deliver, when other deals he was working on fell apart...

Desperation can cause ridiculously one sided deals (Geelong didn't rape us, we did it to ourselves) and that's what the Tuohy deal was...

The week before against GC Gibbs had a team high of 24.

It feels like we are building a team from the backline... As a result, We are spending a lot of time defending and doing a good job at it, then we try to counter attack the opposition at any limited opportunity.

This means that we have become a 10 Goal a game team. We can not manufacture any big scores anymore. Our only hope is to limit the opposition to the same Goal margin for us to have a chance to Win.

I understand we are building, but watching this Slow, chip chip game isn't going to cut it long term. We still need to attack and apply score pressure on the opposition. For this reason, every opposition is going to be in a position to win the game, right up until the end.

Players wise, very impressed again with Jones. He is doing more than Spoiling. He is marking, he is leaving his man and double teaming others, he is holding his ground well.....

On the other hand, I felt we took a backward step by playing guys like Smedits and Graham. They were so poor and ordinary

That's the same way Roos rebuilt Melbourne. Defence first then become more offensive.

Some serious exaggeration in this thread. We didn't play well but that was going to happen.

Exactly. It's all good this rebuilding, developing youth, until we have a bad game then all perspective is gone. it's suddenly all shit, every player is no good, the side is way off and no good....that is until we win next time...lol.

Too many supporters struggle with defeat and end up talking with their frustrations, not their brains. Not just Carlton but all clubs.

We aren't able to generate enough shots at goal. If you have a look at our scores we struggle to get 20 shots. Unless we have an exceptional day in front of goal we struggle.

We need more mids and run and carry. Hopefully, it'll get addressed in the upcoming draft

I don't think that's the point ColourMan is making.

I think the point is SOS could have done better.
