Jones is injured unfortunately he deserved a game the guy had earnt it.
I'm hoping Jaksch or Macreadie get a go, however I too think that CFC may go safe with White.
This game has the propensity to become a big blow out, the Roos are putting together some good form. Go Baggers

They are calling him the Rance of the VFL
I didn't think he was that way inclined

North are a physical team, lead by their coach they will try to beat us up physically in the tackles and in the packs.

I think Boekhorst has been very unlucky. IMO In the VFL game 2 weeks ago he was clearly in the top 3 players on the ground. Then he went to Perth as an emergency based on form. He should have been next in line according to the selection policy.

Bad form by the selectors.

The Phillips one is a weird one.
Any word about Krooze being doubtful?

Agreed...this ridiculous reliance on Dangerfield and Selwood is unsustainable

And the other Selwood...another free kick extractor

Would love to see Ed shut down Danger when we play them

I reckon they'll play Phillips and Sumner.

Sumner for run and Phillips because they'll be worried about North's rucks.
This will also allow Casboult to work his opponent up the ground and provide more of a linking target, and the resting ruckman can stay deep.

I'm not sold on Phillips and Kruezer being on the park together. It's just a recipe for a shellacking.

As we found last year, Kreuzer and Phillips together was a failure. Let's not re-visit it. Kreuzer struggles when he shares ruck duties and Phillips generally does very little. Neither are forwards, so we won't get much out of them resting. The you have Casboult as out only key forward, meaning the defence numbers will go straight to him. We saw how he struggled with that last year. Essentially wipes out the value from 3 players. Kreuzer is having a great year, Casboult is rucking alot better and hitting the scoreboard. Best not to muck around with it. Prefer the extra key forward than the extra ruckman.

Unless you can palm a ball like John Nicholls hitouts are an overrated stat. Not as if a great percentage go to advantage. Often sides the win the tap out count lose the clearances. I'd prefer value around the ground than winning taps and just set up well at stoppages.

Agree.

Shame about Jones - I was looking forward to seeing how he'd go as a backman.
