A shame the game isnt played at Ikon Park this weekend

If it were, he could help himself on the green green grass of home

Didn't hear about ex-cat Billy Smedts playing last weekend but if he did, he doesn't seem to be breaking the door down for selection. Then again, 'what's new pussycat?'.

I just had to, and i don't even know why.....

From the NBFC player review ...
48. Kristian Jaksch
Stats: 15 disposals, 10 marks, 4 rebound 50s
From the coach: KJ played a key defensive post and he was solid. He needs to keep working hard on his contest - some have been terrific while others need to be a bit more consistent. His ball use set us up a lot coming out of our back half.

14. Liam Jones
Stats: 26 disposals, 15 marks, 6 tackles, 4 inside 50s, 4 rebound 50s
From the coach: Outstanding. Liam was a wall for us in our back half. His ability to read it, defend with speed and attack the contest has been a feature. He’s been terrific.

I think Jones gets his chance, up forward though, with Weitering back.

Lamb could be a chance too. Thomas out?

Jones should play back. It's where he's been playing his best footy and he's a perfect replacement for Rowe.
Indigenous round too. Perfect timing for him.
I hope he has a ripper. He deserves success after the effort and attitude he's shown in the Ants.

I feel like we are going to get smacked by Norf. Just feel are due for a Debbie downer and some of the kids need the break coming up

Brown, Waite and Goldsack will cause us some problems and can see the two (Waite and Brown) kicking a bag each

Same, I have a feeling the blues are cooked. The youngsters find it hard to keep a high standard for a long long season.

Don't reckon they will belt us think we can really get hold of North if our forwards make them pay when we get our chance

They play a very attacking style our defensive hold onto the ball style will frustrate them
Better they won last week
I think they are fairly slow side depending on our selected team I think we may run them of their legs

We will be doing well to run anyone off their legs coming back from a wet game in WA down 2 rotations.

I think it'll be close. Carlton by 57 goals

I am really worried we are going to have another blowout Port game and really don't want it to be against Nth.

Only if our structures fall apart and I can't see that happening if the backline are anywhere near their best and the mids provide some two way running.

I'm looking forward to it. Hopefully Jones comes up from injury and plays on Ben Brown. Should a good match up that will be good to watch.
I also wouldn't mind seeing Lamb and Smedts or Polson and Smedts get a guernsey. They were very good last week.

Yeah really hope Jones takes the opportunity if it comes his way. It would be most definitely deserved.

See whether we pick a team to win or try and get games into the kids. Happy either way. If we bring in sat Macreadie, Polson and Pickett we could get a blowout but it helps us in the future. Bring in Jones, Kerridge or Armfield and we'd probably take them. North aren't that good.

I'd be hoping if Macreadie gets selected he stands up rather than choosing to sit.

Simon White would be the obvious one to come in but I too would prefer to see Macreadie get another crack. I thought he was doing really well before he was managed. Maybe that was because he had such a strong guy next to him in Rowe but now we have Silvagni who will be the 'big guy'.

I'd love to see Silvagni play on Waite and give him a bit of grief.
I wouldn't play Marchbank on him. Waite likes to be the hero and get overly physical with kids but he's a bit more circumspect playing on someone who can look after themselves.

Jones is injured unfortunately he deserved a game the guy had earnt it.
I'm hoping Jaksch or Macreadie get a go, however I too think that CFC may go safe with White.
This game has the propensity to become a big blow out, the Roos are putting together some good form. Go Baggers
