If Jones can't get up I'd bring in Jaksch to partner Casboult up forward and play Weitering back. We'll miss Rowe, shutting Brown down goes a long way to beating North.

Rowe is the only definite out at this stage, but I wouldn't be surprised if they gave a few players a two-week break.

If they want to play...

A SMALL DEFENDER: Buckley.
A TALL DEFENDER: Jones.
A TALL FORWARD (Weitering back?): Jaksch.

But they may just bring White straight back in for an injection of defensive hardness.

With Rowe out for the season surely Weitering goes back which opens up a spot up forward for Jones/Jaksch/McKay to fight over.

Weitering's third quarter was brilliant against Freo. His reading of the play and kicking in the wet was first class. Play him down back with ASOS on the opposition's 2 key forwards every week. Wieters will be a key backman for us for the next 12 years, u know he would have learned a lot playing forward but let's unleash him in his natural position and watch him dominate.

That means we will need another key forward. Ideally, that would be Mckay but if he's not ready, bring in Jones or Jacks until he is.

The injury report has been posted on the website. Rowe having surgery this week. Thomas is a test. That is all.
