We reeled them in and took the lead from 20 point defecits. Twice.
Things didn't go our way.

We have the makings of a great team, starting from Defence. One that holds up.

Thought Caz' presence helped us enormously.
We need a body like Rowe's in the backline and one like Caz's in the forwardline.
Opponents hear him coming. He's intimidating.

I don't think we took the game on at times.
Even Crippa seemed to lose confidence when within close proximity of goals and fumbled, twice.
We needed a few 50 metre goal kicking types.

Proud of the boys.
I really hope any 2 of McKay, Jaksch, Curnow and Kerr make it as KPF's. That plus another 4 mids would be the tonic.
I was confident we could win that game since way back on Tuesday.
Doubts set in after their first 4 goals. But I stayed true to my gut feel.

I feel confident for next week too.

I hope Essendon* folds.

Their young kids just have more games in them....SPS and Fish will be awesome in 2 year's time, but for now they will have their quiet games and good games.
