Adelaide's had 3mm of rain since 9am and I'd expect more to fall before the day's out. Tomorrow it's suppose to ease off with a minimal chance of shower. Expect greasy ball conditions tomorrow night.

Hope we re at least competitive.
Have shocking memories of when we last played them there on a Friday night in late '14, and they ripped us by 100+ pts.

Perhaps, rather than revert to 2014, try focusing on the last time we played them, last year when we won by 2pts.

Happy with Polson in for Daisy.
Would have liked Kruezer to remain but if he is too sore/injured best not. Phillips has great opportunity to shine.

Going to have shine really bright. Ryder's been in really good form for Port when on the park.

How sore do you have to be to be put on the long term injury list.

Great news about Cripps, especially with Ollie Wines in good form. That will be a great battle to watch!

For those remembering the nightmare of our only game against Port at AO, don't forget they were a kick away from a GF that year and we were beginning to become spiritless.
Those days are gone.

Returning to Adelaide and Friday Night Football is a big deal for the club.
I'm expecting a 4qrt performance and to wake up Saturday morning feeling proud.....hopefully with 4 points as well.

Good luck Polson (can we call him Pulse?)

Go Blues!

The best of luck to Cam Polson.
Hope, like all of the others that have debuted this year for us, he doesn't miss a beat at AFL level.
With him in the side, that ll make 10 blokes 21 and under... Talk about 'Baby Blues'.

This excerpt is from a private interview with Patrick.
You see him featured with the club Doc who wanted him to rest.

Just on CFC Twitter. Bolton said Cripps is fine, Kreuzer and Thomas out, Polson in.

Port's run off half back may be stifled with Thomas out.

yes, not mention all the free turnovers.

Disappointing for Thomas but unfortunately, no one is exempt from the expectation of performance.
Hopefully the club use this as a vehicle to phase him out of senior football and don't reinstate him without decent performance in the 2's.
No doubt that would be embarrassing for him but with a sizeable contract comes sizeable expectations and scrutiny.

If he has been dropped, I hope he takes the opportunity to retire without prolonging the issue.

Given our young list I'd expect him to play in the NB's and be available for senior selection if required later in the year. That'd be the professional thing to do, especially for a senior player.

Can’t be any more embarrassing than what it he has been for us paying him for the performances he has been serving up
all I would like to say is about time, f!@# off and never return in our jumper again
let him finish his days kicking the dew even though I don’t see the hack adding anything there either

Cuningham, Polson and Phillips also training. Kreuzer and Thomas, as expected, not here. So they've brought 3 emergencies over.
