now thats the kind of whole hearted supprt that we are looking for as we play so far, the biggest match of our lives, heroes will be born in navy blue on the lexus center surface...we will forever tarnish that ground and nicks will never speak of the game again.

things to watch for-
our new recruits-barnesy, bondy
our forward line-shag(and his crumpet), muesli, bull, myself
and a whole lot of fun turned into a grade football.

Was speaking to Bondy the other night at work and saying "imagine all this effort and not getting a f&^*%^$ touch."

Oh well bring it on..

Come on PJ, you and Super coach can start posting a team can't you, just too keep the interest up. W know it will probably change, but hey, who cares...... :-D

How about we have a BOG medal. I know a few people and can get it on the house but will have to pay to get it engraved which would only be a couple of $$$ (don't worry I'm not askin for cash).

After the game everyone who played/watched can post there 3,2,1's and I will get it engraved and mail it to the winner or something.

It can be given back next year for the same game and so on.

Good idea about the medal.

Ryan, it would be great if you can help with the running. I'm just worried
that the way some people drink (namely me), that JB Jnr will be run of his
feet, especially if it's a 30+ degree day  :!:

I think it is fair too say that we need a checklist of things personally and as a team:

Personally-

- footy boots
- mouth guard (if wearing one)
- Carlton top
- blue shorts (preferable)
- own water bottle
- towel
- sunscreen
- water bottle for those that forget

(ie empty soft drink bottle filled with water)

Team- (preferably)

- field umpire
- goal umpire
- boundary umpire
- scorer
- runner x 2, 3, 4, 5, 6
- coach

The medal is a smashing idea and really links in with the concept of trying too make this an annual event. Shit, in 5 years time we could have a B&F night at the local McDonalds

Do we know if the Cazzes are coming along? I love the idea they had last year where they bought some cups and had a bucket full of water.

That was because a fair few people neglected to bring their own water bottles. I'd expect it to be fairly hot on the day so make sure you pack at least 2-3 drink bottles.

I like the idea of the BOG medal. But what shall we call it? The Marc Murphy Medal? The Talking Carlton Champion? Any ideas?

Might talk it over with Prez and see what we can come up with team wise. I've already come up with a temporary side. I took into account who made the effort to play against Saintsational and who rocked up at the training session. I used this criteria to pick the side.

How about we call the BOG medal the D.J.C.W Medal as in Deacon, James, Collis and Williams all our brownlow winners or how about the Harmes Medal since he won our first Norm Smith agianst Collingwood

How about the BlueMark Medal?

Whenever Mark played for us he was easily the most determined out on the ground. For a bloke with a dodgy knee you'd always find him under the bottom of a pack, feeding the ball out to the others around him. Bled Navy Blue when he played in these matches.

I think we should name it in recognition of his never say die attitude and sheer determination when playing in these games.

Whadda ya say?
