If Rowe doesn't get up, I'd prefer to see Weitering sent back and Jaksch come in.
I doubt White will get dropped. He must have some fantastic shots of Bolts with Bessie the goat.

I actually thought Smedts showed a bit against the Ds esp. in the first half - he did fade out of the game but his disposal is a lot better than Kerridge. Having said that Kerridge's grunt would be useful. Don't know enough about Williamson to comment.

Essendon* has included five players in its squad for the match against Carlton on Sunday.

Heath Hocking, Matthew Leuenberger, Mitch Brown, Matt Dea and James Stewart were all named in the 25-man squad.

Ben Howlett (hamstring) and Michael Hartley are the players left out at this stage.

Good ins. But if it's pissing down I think the youngsters may have to wait another week at least. Kerrie he and Palmer would be more suited.

I reckon Smedts, Palmer and Pickett will end up being selected - not sure who will be the other player however you'd think it is highly unlikely to be McKay.
