Do Plow and Macreadie play tall ?

[REDACTED] if I know how Thomas retains a spot.

Well, it worked so well for us last week.

Bewildering.
How on earth did Armfield hold his spot?

YEESH, if ever there was a time to make some spots available it's now!

I'm fully in support of everything Bolts, Trigg, SOS and the club are doing at the moment. But the decisions of our match committee leave me scratching my head, and send the opposite message to everything else.

I can only assume there are unannounced injuries/issues with some players on the periphery of selection... ?

Yeah let's play 8 mids when everyone else plays 14. Baffling....what is going on down there? Starting from that Essendon* game late last year we have gone totally off the rails.

Each week since round 1 ,2016 we seem to want to play with an unbalanced team.
Surely they know it and are doing it for a reason. Wouldn't mind seeing us pick a running team once this year.

Agree Smithy, the Demons have multiple runners that can play through the middle whilst we are so light on in this area. White and Thomas should have been dropped.

Could not agree more....
Wtf is going on. Luckily Warnock isn't still on the list, otherwise he'd be coming in

Obviously we have new players in Marchbank, Macreadie, Pickett, Curnow and SPS however the only player that can play through the midfield is SPS. A glaring gap we have on our list is midfield players and we can only hope that Fisher, Cunningham, Poulson can make the grade, Curnow could move in to the midfield and Pickett may if he can develop his endurance.

Frustrating to see our list of midfielders against the options the opposition have each week. You would think that Cunningham and Kerridge would be a better option than White and Thomas. At least they could rotate through the middle.

I'm a little surprised that we are not bring in pace.
Last week we were killed for pace and this week?
We will be killed for pace.
I can only suppose our quick players in the twos are deemed hopeless.

Tall works if they mark the footy and kick straight but if we can't hit targets and turn it over, which is pretty common, we are vulnerable to the quick transition through the centre of the ground.

I think we will lose this by 50 plus.

I desperately hope I am wrong.

Yeah it may well end up worst than 50 pts , the Demons midfielders will tear us apart.
Baggers are quite tall again and lacking some zip, some of our older players where woefull last week.
Keep our fingers crossed, Go Blues

Sure we have a lot of talls but only a couple of them can actually mark above their head.

With such a paper thin midfield, the delivery will be such that they'll have to clunk a lot of contested marks.

Just can't see the logic. Not at all.
