We have to have a much smaller back line from now on. Melbourne will surely be bringing every speedy small forward that they have in.

I'd drop Thomas and white, suspect we'll drop Pickett and MacReadie

Why would we drop Pickett, showed plenty on debut and is one of our few genuine speedsters.

I like the changes provides much needed speed and a fresh tall option.
I'd swap Charlie Curnow for Jaksch too

Hey Sin, I understand the frustration with Casboult but who will support Kreuzer?

Casbault did a few nice things in the second half and does help out Kreuz.


White, Armfield and Thomas out for mine. I would not drop any youngsters one game into the season give them a couple more.

The side is not settled with many new faces working out how their team mates play.

It'll be easier to identify both the weaker links and their best replacements after the next week or two.

Several journeymen on notice. Time for some of the young 'uns to knock the door down.

This game could get very messy indeed. Demos are a scary proposition if they come to play.
With a little team tweaking hope we can get much closer to a win.

I'd give Harry McKay a bit of time in there, he's trained as a ruck over summer and played there as a junior. Depending on how the match is going Rowe could spend time in there as well. I'm not a Levi basher I just thought that for a guy who spent the entire game at CHF and in the ruck he had zero influence and didn't get enough of the ball.

Some weird changes in this thread.

We are about kids, exposing them to AFL football.

For me Thomas and White I would drop for Buckley and Lamb.

Jaksch kicked one goal and wasn't in our best in the 2's playing against the Tige's 2's. If you think that warrants a call up then you are dead set crazy. This KJ obsession so many supporters have is ridiculous.
