Looking forward to trifecta -white alex silvagni and rowe :smoking: - saw a bit of white and rowe magic in third quarter last week combining - result as expected free to AINTS - wait til the 3 of them combine - probably wont happen as disposal unlikely to hit target between the first two given all 3 have decision making of tree stump :donk:

We play Alex Silvagni instead of Jaksch mind numbing :banghead:

Just Curnow and SPS missing out of the best 22.

Still not expecting much defence from us. Good experience for McKay, Macreadie and Polson. Looking for Smedts, Cuningham and Pickett to step up and demand a spot in round one.

Disappointed Jaksch didn't get a chance up forward.

Cripps v Fyfe should be good to watch at least.

Can't believe KJ missing again.

Someone has to explain this.

Bloody ridiculous.

Rexy could almost rationalize it if they hadn't picked A Silvagni effectively instead - but isn't he a rookie and ineligible for first match

If I'm wrong perhaps it is a cunning stunt so that he can play Alex on Jack the first match so we can restrict Jack to the lazy 8 goals on 23 March :screwy:

Well frank, there's something going on that we're not being told about.

What's the saying, the more things change the more they stay the same....

I didn't expect him t be named and he'll get his usual 1 run during the year......maybe....
Feel for the guy. Hope he gets another/decent chance at another club. Disgraceful treatment by us.

Probably got something to do with the fact he's been shit on field and on the training track his entire Carlton career?....maybe the coaches want more than a one week showing before even being considered?

How serious is C Curnow's injury?

Don't know why people are worried about Alex Silvagni's selection.
What's he done wrong at Dockers. They've let him go because of their youth policy.

He's a more reliable footballer than suggested above. Good mark, good spoil, good kick.

I'd have Silvagni ahead of White, and obviously match committee have him ahead of Jaksch.

Maybe he's over the hill, but last time I saw he was steady and was selected at Freo after an absence with injury.

Sumner missing too.

Whilst he's not in my best 22, I thought he was a chance the way he was spoken on TC.
Sumner has fans.

I like that team, but I'd rather have a look at A.Silvagni than Thomas.
Thomas looks like he's lost his speed and his skills.

Usually agree with you Bondi but no
My only disappointment is that we didn't have a huge play for Lynden Dunn
Imagine a backline with Rowe Dunn Silvagni and White the second worst backline ever in AFL football bar the one Micky Martyn led when he was at Carlton

Imagine the skill errors and decision making errors with the 4 of them all you would need is the Benny Hill music as an accompaniment
A backline of white Rowe and Silvagni is diabolical in every sense of the word every other team at worst has one dud like these now we are thinking about 3

How does these 3 being selected for the last practice match before the real thing sit with Bolts mantra of last week that we are thinking long term

They are all terrible can't see why Silvagni would or should get a game before.Marchbank plowman or weitering so why is he playing let alone any of our young key position players
Can argue that Rowe can take the gorillas maybe but white and
We can't win a game of AFL if those 3 duds play we are the only side that would in the last practice match name Rowe white and Silvagni
Sorry have to say it this is complete BS
