Who is this Hope.
Who does Hope play for what position does Hope play. It shows how backwards we have become if we think Hope is going to turn things around.
I heard the asking price for Hope is Cripps and a 1st rounder. I say nothing more than a 3rd rounder or they can keep hope. Hopefully SOS will do a deal and bring in Hope. But rumours going around is that he is carrying an injury and will be no hope of getting on the field. We so how hopeless Daisy was and I hope we dont sell the farm for Hope.
Heres hoping are current crop come through and Hope wont be needed otherwise the future is looking hopeless.
I say no to hope.

Not so long ago they were saying the Dogs were stuffed for a generation. Their coach had been sacked, their Captain had quit and they had sold the farm for a bloke that couldn't get a game in the 1's. It can all turn around pretty quickly!

Sorry I don't think so.

At the point of time you are referencing they had the nucleus of their current side.

They had during the time you are talking about drafted incredibly well (which we haven't), we are a long we behind because our drafting has been crap.

JLT is meme of the year. It just rolls off people's tongues and no one has a freaking clue as to what it is.

The difference is that some thought the Bulldogs could be stuffed for a generation.

We already have been.

Better performance tonight and we all should be buoyed by performances of Marchbank and Pickett

Weitering also good
At least Crippa will play round 1

Killed around the packs tonight and need murphy and Gibbs to step up
Reckon Kreuz has had a couple of good pre-season games

At least we scored more than 6 goals tonight

Disposal efficiency woeful and you would hate to be a forward in our forward line

Too many ordinary footballers in our side

Disappointing lamb Armfield Thomas White Rowe A Silvagni Palmer

Smedts and jack just passable

Docherty and Simpson need to play blinders for us to be competitive

Long season ahead but at least tonight was significantly better than the last 2 weeks

Other than SPS and maybe Harry, that looks like as good as it might get for a while. LeBois could replace Armfield around the forward line but too early. Sumner, Boekhorst(sp?) major disappointments.

Highlighted sentence sums it up really.

Best game from Kreuzer for a couple of years IMO.

The Sandilands factor was a major contributor to their success, and I wish Murphy and Gibbs did a bit more in the middle.
Despite their 30 odd possessions both of them can step up a notch IMO>

Maybe im grasping at straws but the way Alex Silvagni was prowling around spitting, snarling, looking to start a blue with anyone looking at him sideways actually got me fired up.Jumped up off the couch and was screaming for the boys to get in there.Great stuff. The boys didnt backdown one inch.Seemed like he had everyone around him stirred up.We have been FAR too TIMID for far too long.Agression and ferocity returning to our team is number one for mine.We looked a far more aggresive outfit last night.Gotta be the cornerstone of our resurgance..................maybee Silvagni is that tiny spark to set the whole team alight.

No one was saying that about the dogs, at no stage was their drafting as bad as ours.

Even when they lost their captain and coach, I don't think anyone thought their list was as bad as ours. Of course no one could of predicted he turn around either.

We are in as bad a spot list wise as 2005

We are going to have to look for individual signs because as a team, as you said just way too many sub standard players to be competitive week in week out
