Apparently Boomer was seen having coffee with SOS today.

Hopefully Boomer was asking for SOS's advice for life after football. We dont want another club's records game holder legend on a pension plan taking up a spot we can use to blood kids. Well done for a great career Boomer but we dont want to be the embarrassment at the end of his illustrious career (AKA Mick McGuane etc)

Yet we keep Casbolt as a list clogger. Your argument has holes.

Can't see anyone pushing for a spot in a role that Harvey would play.

All good to let Boomer play for a year as long as it is combined with an Assistant coaching role, which is on-going after he finishes playing. No good recruiting him just to play in our situation. Could help our yonng mids so much.

Casboult is a bit better than a list clogger but at the same time is just holding the fort until the draftees are ready. Think about what happens if we let him go. Kids thrown into key forward positions when they are not ready as well as our ruck depth dropping now Wood is gone. Our ruck division has been poor all year. Eventually we'll work out that our current two ruckmen aren't any good when off the ball, taking them long enough to realise, and let Levi play the 2nd ruck role. He's easily the best we have around the ground in a rucking role, better than being stuck as our only key forward, surrounded by a ton of defenders with a slow moving ball bombed on him. Best games our rucks played was when Phillips was out, especially the first Collingwood game where Levi was released into the ruck and totally dominated around the ground and in front of goal, a role he certainly played well in 2015. Nothing like playing a player to his strengths.

Might explain the police car outside Nat Southby's house.

A supportor of a rival club accessed the club rooms at Ikon Park on Saturday. The draft plans and player targets for the women's competition were on white boards. They took photos and have been leaking to media outlets.

In the women's footy forum on BF, someone posted a bunch of pictures of Carlton's women's team strategy and info on recruits that were up on a board in a private room of Princes Park, so it could be about that.

Draft plans for the women's team only?

Wonder how this supporter was able to get access?

At least it (women's footy) isn't distracting our club from more important matters

Probably, short term.

Long term, might get a 3rd rounder for Cas, and if he has a break through in his extension year, he may get us a 2nd rounder in 2017

Casbolt is a list clogger and this year has proven dangerous to our young players. Players around him learn nothing.

Professional clubs would have delisted him many years ago, not offered him contract after contract.

There is no medium or long term with Casbolt, Petrie represents a better short, medium, long term option than Casbolt ever did or ever will.
