To echo some of the above, that's a big list.

I reckon the ones in red are gone and the ones in yellow are on borrowed time. (The ones who haven't played are a bit of a punt based on posters' comments and the VFL review each week)
The greens are safe.

Everitt and Casboult to Gold Coast for pick 22
Pick 22 to Swans for Mitchell

Or trade pick 22 and our second round pick for a mid first round pick

Kruezer to GWS (replace Lobb) for Steele, Marchbank and Tomlinson
Or Kruezer to doggies for their first round pick

I'd Trade Gibbs end of 2017

I hope either GWS or Bulldogs put trublu in charge of trade week.

Trublu won't have time, he's got a very important job at the ABS.

The greens are safe.

Tutt is a red for mine and Whiley would be a yellow as I'm not as optimistic about his chances of staying, or not 100% anyway, though I have a gut feeling he will. Buckley might also be one to shop, I'd put him in the yellow bracket.
I don't disagree with Everitt being a yellow, but I would bet my dollars top to bottom he will be put on the trade market and there will be interest in him so I was very close to putting him in the red column.
Foster is probably a red, but one thinks here he'll be re-rookied (don't discount Jones, though in contract, as a yellow).
Armfield was yellow early in the season, but his form in the 2nd half of the year and Walker's retirement has me concluding he'll have one more year on the list.
Gowers or Sheehan? That's a real shame what's happened to Sheehan. I think Gowers will stay, he's going alright by reports in the twos.
And it's great that talks are opening up with Tuohy staying and to add to that, with Walker gone, he's my fancy on being added to the leadership group and rightfully so.
Gone:
Wood (rookie)
Gallucci (rookie)
Dick
Smith
Tutt
Everitt (trade)
Graham
Foster
Walker (retired)
Jamison (retired)
That's 8 on the seniors and 2 on the rookies who I think or know won't be at the Blues next year. Another few would be uncertainties, especially come trade time and perhaps there might be a shock, or two, players traded out.

Whiley and Tutt should be red both are not up to it.

I'd say Whiley is definitely gone. Graham probably in yellow, small chance to remain and has been given a lot more game time than Whiley.

Good assessment. I would include Whiley as orange though. Prior to the last couple of weeks comments from Fraser on the individual performance of Tutt and Whiley in the two's I would have had them in the red, but I detect some language that IMO means they will stay.

Tutt, Sheehan, and Rainbow gone.

Sheehan to injury prone.

Gallucci should get another year. He has missed almost all of this year because of injury.

The rest of Blue Sombreros list I agree with.

Watching this week's classic matches, 2009, there were:

1. some brilliant players (Judd et al)
2. other fantastic players with attitude issues (Waite, Garlett, Fev)
3. Plodders who at best could do a role (Cloke, Joseph)

But it really dropped off, and I remember that flawed hope that someone would eventually come good. It also confirms that we are now on the right path: keep the top players, trade second tier esp if they have attitude issues, build a strong culture to prevent further attitude problems, and keep turning the list over until depth is built, and some nuggets are found.

We should ask for a PP before Brisbane does. We obviously need it more.

Why would a 25yr old and 23yr old be judged by what they're doing in the VFL and not what they have done in the AFL? Both surely gone not up to it with the list seemingly getting bigger.........

A couple of posts on this page where I've missed the humour here. Your response especially Surrey Blue; why was Sombrero's post so funny and deserved a round of applause?

Because he still has it in his heart of hearts to blame all our failings on a losing culture and he somehow thinks BS is referencing that. That's all I can come up with to explain it.
