It's a very wide ground, windy and cold. Prick of a place to play. Doesn't surprise me at all.

Have to admire the effort, pressure and intensity.

Unfortunately we have too many that are below par with their skill level. Undoes so much good work.

Defensively we are great but we won't win many games struggling to score so much.

And they had the 100 goal breeze advantage that carlton weren't good enough to capitalise on in the first

Is that the best 1 goal half of footy in history?

I can't even watch the GWS -v- Richmond game for a little light relief because it hurts when I laugh.

Zach - 23 touches in that half. Be a record for him I would think...

I've heard a lot about these superstars: Hodge, Mitchell, Lewis, Burgoyne. Must be media hype. More like Spud, Spud, Spud, Spud.

How they can carry another Spud like Frawley is nuts.

I haven't been following the thread but in what unverse is running from one point post across goal to outside the other point post not running too far without bouncing it? The umpires count paces instead of seeing the bleeding obvious. The goals are just shy of 7 metres apart so Mitchell ran 20 metres plus right in front of the umpire's bloody nose!

We were lucky not to get blown away in te firt ten minutes. Now we are unlucky not to be in front but the reality is the skill level of our players is not good enough. Far too many kicks not finding their ytargets at short range and once again the press is in the wrong place. We had one against four on the FF line with two minutes to go in that second qtr and they kicked it right into the middle of the defenders,

Our forward coach can't possibly be doing this on purpose. The press should follow the ball and when it creeps forward they should adjust. Even if they just manned up their defenders they would have some idea about where the ball is likely to fall. Kicking it long to Kernahan doesn't cut it fifteen years later.

Talk about frustrating!

One goal in a half and we are still in it. Shit game to watch all round.
