MCC dining room tomorrow night, suited up, brothers 57th birthday, most likely his last. He wore Serge's number 1 as a preschooler, I had Big Nick's number 2. Collingwood vs Carlton MCG, SOSOS's debut, an emotional night. Looking forward to it greatly.

One minute before the bounce, Carlton deep forward line, Walks and SOSOS strip off their jumpers, and swap. SOSOS in the number 1 for his debut

HOW @#$%&! GOOD WOULD THAT BE.

Go blues.

Hey RickJ, hope the Blues put on a show for you and your Bro, I also had big Nick's number 2 on my back.

I'd still like to see more pace in the Team, Buckley and DVR would be handy.

We have lost our last 18 night matches in a row

I've got the antidote to this stat

We've only beaten Collingwood twice in a season three times this century

2004, 2008 and 2012

It's another Olympic year......

Get on us at $2.40!!!

He did ok.

The only thing I would be concerned about is Collingwood getting nasty like they did with Watts.

The Blues need to ensure they give Jack all the help he needs out there.

I remember the preseason game against the drug cheats when they tried to rough up I forget who it was, anyway it was none other than Jack who flew in to fly the flag.
He's ready.

I believe you're thinking of McKay.

Bringing kids in too early is always a concern but we've blooded every player we drafted and traded for in 2015 who hasn't been injured apart from Glass McCasker and Korcheck .

Hard to make a case for this decision being reckless.

Meaningless post

So because we have done the same actions in the past drives our future action

Mckay got a back injury after 3 months...a more mature body could protect himself...

You're a bitter fool MF.

He's selected on form and, from the outside, the selection has followed the same pattern all year.

No it hasn't.

He's played a few good games at VFL level, showing much promise and excitement for our future.

Id like to know what his overall 4qtr stats for the games he's played. My guess is that we are so desperate for him to come into the seniors that we look at his scores and the odd smart flick/handball/football nous and think that he's ready. maybe he is???? No one knows. Some of us are just suggesting that in OMHO, his selection this week DOES NOT follow the pattern this year.

Why hasn't Jacksh had a look in?
DVR I understand has only shown some glimpses but you'd think (OK...I think) he'd be tried out before SOJ
And conversely, what has Everett done to stay in the side?

I hope SOJ has a dream debut...I really do. Like others, I was about 9 when Serge played his last game so the Silvagni name means lot to me...and my departed dad of Italian ancestry...

Some of us are just saying that his inclusion this week appears contrived

Reasonably confident about this game.

Don't think the opposition are much chop, & it's Walker's 200th & Silvagni's debut. And it's Collingwood.

Surely we can lift.
