The same arguments were put forward about his Father.

He did ok.

The only thing I would be concerned about is Collingwood getting nasty like they did with Watts.

The Blues need to ensure they give Jack all the help he needs out there.

I remember the preseason game against the drug cheats when they tried to rough up I forget who it was, anyway it was none other than Jack who flew in to fly the flag.
He's ready.

The last 3 games have dented my confidence a little. I'm unsure if we'll see 'new Carlton' for long enough.

Here's hoping though. Sure would love to best these pricks again.

Goodluck young Jack............yep,i'm one of those that watched his Dad and Grandad play in premierships for our great club.Hopefully Jack can match there great achievments. Is Jack ready ? of course not like every single debutant before him.But dont worry,he will survive. And i actually hope the Pies get stuck into him.A real baptism of fire just to show us what hes made of.Wouldnt have it any other way.

PS.............to the fella who mentioned Gary Crane.Mate i can assure you not only was he a fantastic player but a FEARLESS hard at the ball player as has worn the old dark navy blue.
A great centre line..............Crane,Robertson,Quirk.

The Carlton Football Club.....................Now,Always,Forever.

How many had we lost against Geelong? It's just another game at night, we have already beaten this mob and should do it again.

Slightly off-topic; will SOSOS wear the number 1 when Walker walks?

MCC dining room tomorrow night, suited up, brothers 57th birthday, most likely his last. He wore Serge's number 1 as a preschooler, I had Big Nick's number 2. Collingwood vs Carlton MCG, SOSOS's debut, an emotional night. Looking forward to it greatly.

One minute before the bounce, Carlton deep forward line, Walks and SOSOS strip off their jumpers, and swap. SOSOS in the number 1 for his debut

HOW @#$%&! GOOD WOULD THAT BE.

Go blues.

I will be in the MCC tomorrow night as well, for the first time since the renovations. Enjoy the night.

Your post made me so sad Rick.
He is unwell? So sorry to hear that.
Lets hope its the best birthday ever for him.
Have a ripper nite. Would be awesome if they swapped..but I believe he chose the 2 in honour of pops and grand pops.
1 plus 1 equals double great. :)
