For god's sake, wrap him up for the season!
Everyone familiar with this injury said it was very serious. Possibly should have (had) surgery.
Didn't we learn anything from the Daisy disaster. It's not worth it for (at most) 4-5 matches.
Take the rest of the season. Do whatever is required to get back to 100% for the beginning of next season - whether it be surgery or otherwise. And stop screwing around with a return this season which could result in further damage or a less-than-optimal recovery.
It's not as if Murphy returning in Round 18 or 20 will propel us to a Premiership!

Murphy's ankle.
Is it like Murphy's law?

I've posted this elsewhere but that Dangerfield has essentially written 2 seasons off for Murphy irrespective of the legality of the tackle/bump.

He needs to be repaid!!

Did anyone ever believe the club when they said he would miss 2-3 weeks? I know I didn't.
I am sure he will be back this year but I doubt it will be for at least another 3 weeks or so.

Agree Kez - it was obvious it was going to be a long term injury. IMHO the club did not want to tell the masses the true longevity here. I can't blame them too much either as the momentum we had at that time was huge. They are doing what any one of us would have done in trying to keep the positivity flowing.

Bolton's assessment doesn't sound great. I guess they'll have to decide whether or not to put a line through the rest of his season.
