We'll soon see if Gorringe tips Phillips out of the team when his "hip" recovers.
I'm tipping the answer is no.

Settle down.

Settle down?
I know you occasionally see yourself victimised on TC Jim but condescending crap like that is the reason some posters bite at you. I believe Gorringe was gone whether he had an injury or not. You obviously don't.
Neither of us know for sure. Don't be taken aback that I had the temerity to disagree with you. Your views are guesswork, like the rest of us. There's no additional certainty attached to your comments, even though you phrase them like there is. I'm just offering an differing opinion.

My only point there is that you seem to be throwing me towards the polar-opposite view, when I just happen to prefer Gorringe's overall work in the 22 based on both quantitative and qualitative assessment performed by myself.

Any question of language is simply an oversight on my part, for which I can only apologise and continue to address in the future.

Gorringe hasn't shown me anything as either a forward or a ruck.

Phillips however has surprised me a little.

I agree and I suspect Phillips will relish the opportunity to pit himself against Mumford.
Sadly, I half suspect Gorringe would have been in the foetal position at the prospect. Both however are proving to be decent users of the footy so if we can get them to get a bit more footy up forward, both may be a chance to succeed.

I agree BV. Next time Gorringe plays, I hope he is as a permanent forward. I was surprised we didn't go into this game with him as a forward and Phillips as the second ruck/forward. We would need to play Sumner, Armfiled and resting mid at there feet so I guess it's not the right time yet.

Can't blame Gorringe if he was a bit worried, I get bruises just watching Mummy.

 ... I think 1 of our other forwards might do his gut bust running down the ground during the times Mummy pushes back for them.

With the advantage of the break, I'm tipping a seven goal loss.

Maybe 39 points to give the punters the shites.
