I was really impressed with our composure with the ball in the back half for that first 15 mins of Q1. Looked like we could keep the ball in our hands all day.

But Gorringe's impression of Ackland in ruck at the end of the quarter cost us the momentum which we haven't been able to seize back.

We're still right in this but we need to get our hands on the ball in the middle.

We were much better last 15 mins, if we win this I think we have turned the corner and become a good team

Phillips will come back. White should be dropped and Gorringe can do his job.
Gorringe has talent and needs to be played....but not in the ruck. He is not a ruckman. He is a mobile forward and pinch hit ruck around the forward line.

Very little contribution from White and Everitt.

True. Casboult having to do it all. Walker hasn't been much influence either.

Agree about Gorringe moves ok as a forward.

Casboult is a far better 2nd ruck

I was about the write that White was useless as a forward in that qtr...

I completely forgot about Dre... didn't even notice him!!

Could be a blessing. Enter SOS and KJ..

This was always going to be a challenge coming in as the hunted and this lot can really play once they get a sniff. Great test of our character this second half as many of our lads have got so much more to give.

If Phillips comes back in, I'd prefer to see KJ in the side ahead of Gorringe.

i.e. In: Phillips KJ
Out: Gorringe White

Can we refer to Dre as the doctor?

15 players with 6 tackles between them.

Forwards as well as getting little ball, have applied very little pressure.

2nd half of the 2nd quarter was the only time we have played closer to how we want

Midfield getting smashed. Gibbs? Where is that player we had against Geelong? This is Gibbs 2015 version. A real test for our club in the second half.
