St.Kilda then the Bye. We have a rough run after that. After the bye we play GWS away, Pies, Crows at home, Eagles at home, then Sydney away and Hawthorn in Tassie. Win a couple of home games at least, and the Pies, Crows and West Coast are very winnable, and the season really takes off with a softish last 4 games with Brisbane and St.Kilda again as well as Melbourne and Essendon*.

Development is first but it's nice to have one eye at least on the finals even if they will be a bonus.

I'd be happy to keep pinching a few games on the run home. I guess we'll end up with 10 wins. 11 wins and we've had a great finish. Anything more and we're better than I'm giving us credit for.

Not sure if 12 wins is enough for finals. We aren't going to lose them all, and we aren't going to win them all. I think this is fair enough.. perhaps swap the pies and crows.

Not sure we can ink in a W for next week. Pencil at this stage.

McKay, Cuningham, C. Curnow and Silvagni will potentially start getting some games in the second half of the season; I wouldn't be surprised to see the wins drop off as a few of the young guys are given an extended run.

The season won't be measured on wins and losses, it's all about growth and development.

8-10 wins at the season's conclusion is my prediction.

Our biggest win of the year. Need a few more, and a very respectable effort in that Adel-Eagles-Swans-Hawks stretch to be in the hunt.

The three closest percentages near or above us right now are 109, 105 and 105, then it's all 130+ save for Adelaide. Can't have any more 10-goal losses unless we can thread in some 10-goal wins.

I'd actually give us a fair chance against the Hawks because their strength is their attack, their weakness is their defence, and we are the opposite. Could be a matter of who has the shorter injury list and the greater determination on the day.

That said, I'd be thrilled with 12 wins even though it won't be enough for finals. I don't think we can take a 4-0 end to the season for granted, either. 10 wins would be a satisfactory outcome from here, though it may seem disappointing given our recent run.

I wouldnt be penciling in the Saints just yet.

Looks like posters (by their W/L predictions) have acknowled that we won't beat anyone currently in the 8 for the rest of the season. Which kind of tells you we arent good enough anyway.

I'm not fussed either way but I think we could beat the WCE at the G. They are serious front runners. If it was at Etihad I'd say it would have been very likely we'd win.
