I think sending 4 talls in against Brisbane's forward line is a mistake, especially after all the petrol tickets spent today.

What stats are you referring to?

Equal 3rd (with two other defenders) for intercept possessions, middle of the road for pressure acts, less 1%ers than some of our key forwards.

Limited scoring involvements, was the least used defender on the day we had two go down, and if you factor in that Weitering went off for an injury assessment, it was by some margin.

Where do you find such detailed stats, Jimmae? I can barely find disposal efficiency. Would love to find intercept possessions, pressure acts etc. (legit question, not having a go at your stats)

both have their strengths and weaknesses

happy for all the fringe players to get opportunities this year

SOS can pick a footballer and will cut appropriately at the end of the year

You get access to a premium section for each game when you subscribe to the AFL app.

It's a bit all over the shop though, because they'll report TOG (in minutes), pressure acts, intercept possessions and disposals, as well as showing a 'heat' map which only shows where the touches were gathered, but there's also things like metres gained averages, except that it's buried in the player profiles that you click through.

I'd love to play around with the professional packages just to see the depth of it, but I suspect there's not a whole lot more recorded than what we've heard about over the last 5 years.

Brisbane are as slow a team as you'll find in the AFL. They're also not very good. We've got a lot more leg speed in the team than they do.

Their forward group will test our defenders in that regard.

If they opt to use that pace up the ground, they'll score easier on the counter than what most think.

They have one fast player in their forward six in Taylor, Zorko in the midfield. Hanley is ok and the rest of the team is pretty slow. Hardly anything to be concerned about.

Zorko killed us two games ago.
He needs to be countered.

I guess the selection committee don't have access to this level of detail and use footywire instead....

They probably just use Dream Team scores

Not sure why.

I think I know Tutts limitations and I think I know Graham's .

TBH I would have thought Tutt was more able to play the role Murphy had this year. Graham is much slower .

I don't really care either way by Tutt has probably been the NBs best player all year.

Based on the 4 NB games I've watched Tutt has got heaps of the ball however he turns it over way too much. He tends to get ball and just kick under pressure, he has pace and the only way he will make it is if he holds on to the ball and use his pace to allow him to find an option.

For me Graham is the better option even if he lacks a yard.

Neither hurt the opposition much.

He had a fair crack! Wasn't the most skilled, but could hit hard!

Sad about his father and having to leave.

Hope he has a great game!

Probably pushing it but a speech at the prezos lunch too and on stand by to poke Dr Eddleston when he nods off. Better than captain such responsibility.

We will see if this club has finally turned the corner today.
Expected to win these games in the past and we have failed.
Really worried and excited to see how we play after such a huge effort last week.
Always tougher 2nd game back for Kruezer and Casboult to back it up.
Will Graham take his chance and step up???
Will Gibbs lead from the front in the middle knowing he will receive extra attention now with Murph out??
Playing 2 short last week and how that impacts our rotations and ability to run out the game will be interesting..

I'm Worried but more confident than i have been in the past coz i reckon Bolts won't let anyone get complacent or ahead of ourselves.

Go the Mighty Blues

We have already turned the corner, regardless of what happens.

We still have to remember, our squad is.still poor and the majority of players out there today will not be there in 2-3 years.

They have shown that we have a good coach, not that they are top notch squad.

The minute that those players take the foot off the pedal a few percent, they will look like the players of last year.

Hey I didn't expect to win one game this year, I don't particularly care about the scoreboard each week. But the doomsdayers will be out in force if we do lose.... Expect a big week from Synbad.

Lose this and last week's win will be a distant memory.
This game is more defining than last week
