Well atleast we won't have to watch Mathieson playing for 15 head high tackles. Thank @#$% for that. :banghead: :banghead:

Gotta reward form though.

Not disputing the selection, just that we arguably needed to inject pace after Geelong's lack of foot speed probably flattered our line up last week.

Brisbane are as slow a team as you'll find in the AFL. They're also not very good. We've got a lot more leg speed in the team than they do.

I would have been interested in the umps interpretation of the rule of the week.

Their forward group will test our defenders in that regard.

If they opt to use that pace up the ground, they'll score easier on the counter than what most think.

Tutt was the only other option. Has speed. Been playing well.

Graham offers more despite his lack of pace

I think the team is about right, given injuries. Think graham was good when last in the ones and was unlucky to be dropped. Don't think he has really put a foot wrong since....
As much as I like bell I hope he and robbo turn it over as much as they used to....

I'm sorry but just remotely contemplating Tutt instead of Graham, makes me laugh.

They have one fast player in their forward six in Taylor, Zorko in the midfield. Hanley is ok and the rest of the team is pretty slow. Hardly anything to be concerned about.

Agree....I was being polite.

Fact is we didn't have to many options this week

Not sure why.

I think I know Tutts limitations and I think I know Graham's .

TBH I would have thought Tutt was more able to play the role Murphy had this year. Graham is much slower .

I don't really care either way by Tutt has probably been the NBs best player all year.

I was never suggesting Tutt; I posted my selection ideas on Sunday at the start of this thread if you want to take a gander.

I reckon Murphy will come up, they might give Sumner this and the bye off.

Out: White (omitted), Sumner (ankle), Armfield (leg)
In: Byrne, Cuningham, Buckley

EDIT: Armfield got properly stomped on in the final few minutes of the game

Dropping White based on last week's game. What were you watching ?

There isn't a spot for him in defence, and you're overselling his performance.

You are over thinking things.......

Feel however you'd like - I just think you're plain wrong. You're letting your own personal views and preconceptions get in the way of actual performance.

The stats back me up as well; he was our weakest defender today.

I think sending 4 talls in against Brisbane's forward line is a mistake, especially after all the petrol tickets spent today.

What stats are you referring to?
