Yeah.. and yet meeja go for the depressing angle of how winning might hurt us long term.
I trust we will figure that out and always always always go for the win.

Yes, unlike 2004 where it was obvious the wins would hurt us long term because of our patchwork list of rejects.

Now we seem to have a solid core of quality players coming through... win win win... grow and fly..!

...and unlike then and last year, we have a modern coach with relevant coaching techniques, ideas and manifesto.

Should shout out our committed fans booing Henderson within an inch of his life. Haven't seen a unified crowd performance like that since we tried to lynch Milburn in 2001.

But in all seriousness, just finished the last quarter now and that was one of the best tackling performances I can remember. I got told of a stat today that we had more tackles in the last quarter than in a whole game this time last year (but don't quote me on that).

Great to see what a proper coach has inspired out of this list so far.

Speaking of Milburn I don't know who was wearing no.39 for Geelong on the weekend but it still got a reaction from me when he came on the screen

Me too. I tweeted about that during the match.

My favorite moment was simmo patting Gibba, who was sitting exhausted on the field.
Wanted to post a photo of it.. but alas.. none in the CFC gallery.
Almost finished 3rd q replay..
This is a lovely week for us.

Agree.
Mine was Armfield's roar; I think you posted a photo of it. They are giving their all and you can't ask any more than that

Made front page in Monday's Age.

Don't know how a picture of a Carlton player made it on the front page of the Age - but Caroline Wilson and Rohan "I don't write Essendon* puff pieces" Connolly must have already gone to bed.

Forgive me, it has been about 2 years since my last confession.

Wowsers, a team playing as a team. Simon White reminding me of Andy McKay. Lachie P / Peter Dean. Levi / Spalding. Curnow / Ratten. Gibbs / Diesel (sort of). Crippa / Kouta, Weitering / Doull - Glen Jakovich combine and dare I say it, Dre / Brad Pearce.

We've all got the hots for Paddy Cripps, but gees, when Geelong covered Gibba in the last, the way Crippa stood up, and then THAT mark against thier Paddy. Wow!!

A long way to go - as important as Kreuz and Levi would seem to be, if you lose them, you have to have a list and system that can cover them, and it didn't happen last week.

Mid 90's and early 2000's you went to the footy and you could tell in the first 10 minutes through the hard efforts and 1%'s being done by all that yep, it was going to be a good day. Getting that feeling again....

Go Blues.

P.S. You have to back this up and beat Brisbane to be showing further progress.

Thanks, Wookie.
I came, I looked, I found, I watched.

You do good work.
