Is that because they are so Illogical?

So far the best counter-argument I've heard is "great second half."

Let us know beforehand which opposition players we have to be nice to please

Tom Bell, his dad has cancer

also maybe Foetus Hands (but don't call him that to his face)

Leppitch. He might get sacked, don't want to cost the rangas a job

I'm hoping for just one change.
Perhaps Jaksch or Charlie C if ready.. for rhymes with orange.(rwo). Expect Murph to be fine..andy mac seemed to think so. If little sting is longer term injury..(hope not!) Then buckley?

Doesn't Buckley have another week of suspension to serve?

My guess-

In: Byrne, Graham, Jamo
Out: Murphy (inj), Sumner (inj), Weitering (inj)

Weitering looks sore to me.

You might be right about the Outs but I would have Jaksch rather than Jamo in along with Casey and Graham.

Possibly Tutt in as well if Sumner doesn't get up

If both Jamo and KJ (reported to be ill) are unavailable, we might play one less tall and bring in Tutt.

I don't see us playing one less tall in defence. Brisbane are playing Schache, Freeman and West/Martin forward at the moment. No midgets there.

Yeah, but if none of Jamo, KJ or Weitering come up we may have no choice but to play Rowe & Plowman as our 2 tall defenders, with White/Tuohy/Byrne making up the 3rd. Unless they want to have a look at Foster?

He does, she's mocking me for not recalling the return date (it's still stupid that he misses 3 AFL games for a two-game suspension).

I spoke to Charlie Curnow, he's a couple of weeks away and I think that will be VFL.
He probably has lost a fair bit of fitness

All good; hang on though:

Buckley suspended
Quote:
By Cristian Filippo
Dylan Buckley will be unavailable until Round 12 of the AFL season after being suspended for the Northern Blues on the weekend.

The Barometer: Round 11
Quote:
CARLTON INJURIES
Marc Murphy (ankle) TBC
Ciaran Byrne (calf) TBC
Liam Sumner (ankle) TBC
Dennis Armfield (leg) TBC
Dylan Buckley (suspended VFL) available

http://www.afl.com.au/injury-list
Quote:
Dylan Buckley - Suspended (VFL) - Available round 11

Laws of Australian Football 2016
Quote:
1.3 AFL RULES PREVAIL
Where any provision in the AFL Rules or Regulations is inconsistent with any provision contained in these Laws, the provision in the AFL Rules shall prevail to the extent of the inconsistency.

19.4.4 Effect of Suspension
(a) Unless Laws 19.4.4 (d) or 19.4.4 (e) apply, a Player or Official suspended by a Controlling Body is, for the period of the suspension, or while the suspension remains unserved, prohibited from playing or participating in a Match conducted by the Controlling Body imposing the suspension and a Match conducted by any other Controlling Body.

Subclauses d and e refer to changing to a competition that operates during another calendar period, so if I'm reading that right, he's suspended for 2 AFL matches (2 weeks) and at least 1 VFL match (2 weeks), but possibly another VFL match as well. Sanity prevails!

EDIT: Fixed AFL Laws of the Game quotes.

As much as I hope to ignore you jim, you make it difficult.

I'm not sure what the Stallone pic has to do with my comment.

It's pretty obvious that the MC had always tried to use two rucks when Phillips was available. Kruez is a ruckman and Gorringe a ruckman fwd.

What we won't see is your preference to have Kruez share ruck duties with Casboult, no matter how much you insist it's the right call. Phillips may have to earn his spot again but that's a good thing.
