Walks was good

Also I think Motlop got lore rattled than us doing anything untoward. His team wasn't playing well and either was he.

I was thinking this the other day. Judd to make a comeback for a year.

I thought that was a bit rough considering it's indigenous round...

He did try and throw a haymaker at Tuohy's junk at one point.

You've hit a new low jimmae

We should actually ease up on indigenous players in indigenous round? :screwy:

He didn't actually try and hit him in the junk he actually did hit him in the junk.

But that's ok we did invade Poland.

Bolts is the king of that.. Equilibrium

He is a more refined version of Ratts, Ratts would have been cheering and carrying on after a win like this. He allowed the club tp get to high after a win which is why we were so inconsistent under him.

Chalk and cheese... Ratten built a team around skill and Judd. Ie an attacking midfield and no accountability. Bolton expects accountability in all positions.

He'd be lucky to have junk any more if the haymaker had hit him flush

I know it would be hard for you to tell if you'd been hit there.

I am still in shock. Although I seem to remember in my childhood we used to beat Geelong regularly, time and nostalgia can distort the past. In reality we never, ever beat Geelong. They had beaten us in every game since 1897, usually by 100 points or more. That long-standing record score of theirs was not booted against Fitzroy, it was against Carlton. Only numerous errors by a sympathetic goal umpire kept the score below 300 that day. I had naturally written today's game off and hoped that we could beat the Saints and Bears (Lions, whatever) to reach the 6-and-6 dream. Now, what? I dare to dream of 7-and-5?

Give Bolton all the coach of the year accolades now. Carlton's achievements this season already render all challengers impotent. Scratch the name "Bryce" into the Brownlow tomorrow; I'll call you when it's time to add "Gibbs".

Thank you, Brendan, for taking the chore out of footy watching.

What a fabulous team effort. Across the board contributions.

I have to pinch myself at games nowadays. Is this really our team?

Pros:

Special mention for Gibbs. Love his endeavour and has brought hardness to his game.

Our backline were rock solid. Rowe & White wee fantastic. Doc will be tying for the lead with Gibbs for the B&F.

Loved Thomas' courage in the last qtr.

Everitt I'm a fan of & gives us flexibility.

Nice to shove it up 'em! Especially Hendo & the muted post match handshakes told the tale.

Cons: we should be getting 40,000 crowds for games against Cats but missed the mark

Umps don't pay the man handling frees when they are there to be paid.

My mind is racing after this win, and I'm feeling a little confused. What does this win actually mean?

Agree, should of we just let him run around and be BOG all in the name of reconciliation?

I don't think that's what anyone wants

I'm just saying it's a bad round to be doing it from a public perspective; I doubt anyone said anything untoward.

Out he wanders on one of the prouder days he'll have in the AFL, and we try and knock him down several pegs.

Of all the stupid things you say... and there is a lot.. this pretty much takes the fairy bread.

Don't go after aboriginals during indigenous round.....?? wow !!

Perhaps we went after him despite the colour of his skin as he was a threat to us? Perhaps he is just a geelong prick and so we should smash him at all times anyway?

no no ... take it easy during indigenous round

:screwy:
