White won us the game in the last. Will not be going anywhere.

There isn't a spot for him in defence, and you're overselling his performance.

You need to appreciate moments in games more Jim. White was crucial to the win.

Plenty more crucial moments from plenty more crucial players. I loved the win, but White doesn't have a match up in defence, he doesn't have a match-up in midfield, and there's others in and out of the team who would play before him up forward.

Unless Plowman or Weitering pull up sore, he's out.

Such a killjoy Jimmae!

In all seriousness how did Bucks go in the VFL?

Am I missing something from far away Darwin? Isn't Buckley suspended for a couple of weeks and didn't the NB's have a bye this week?

Also, Armfield was helped off but soon after they showed footage of him running quite freely around the boundary. Hopefully OK for next week.

White played a good game, stood up and did the hard stuff when needed. Can't see him being omitted.

You are right and I checked we also had the bye.

I am confident all bar Sumner will be right next week.

White was fantastic.

Assuming Sumner can't come up probably only he goes out and Byrne back in. Jakesh for Gorringe maybe, but I thought Gorringe was ok

Levi might be right to ruck so Jaksch adds better balance. Gorringe might be stiff but we'd be better off with a key forward in and Levi sharing ruck duties with Kreuzer, remembering the Collingwood game.

So we'll go into this game as favourites and we know how that has turned out in the past.

We're a different club now but I still have that "danger game" feel.

It'll be a good test to see if they can bring the same effort and intensity against a "lesser" side.

Agree re Gorringe. Though he was vastly superior than the north game Jakesh still probably should come in

This will be the first game all year where we are expected to win and win well. Even when we played Essendon* no one thought we were any good.

Did I miss something about Armfield???

Was being carried off quickly in the last after copping the full weight of a Cats' player on his lower leg, walked the last few steps off and walked off, but you'd expect a pretty severe cork at the minimum.

It's also not hard to fracture your shin in those situations, and if it's structurally sound you won't really know until blood starts pooling in your ankle.

Thanks

Agree. This is where real leadership comes to the fore, and where I think Bolton's style will come through. We've beaten the bottom 4 teams this year and that comes from a core belief and managing accordingly.

Why don't we wait for the official CFC medical report. Then we can all rest easy.

So far the best counter-argument I've heard is "great second half."

And you don't usually drop players who play well?

I reckon you should agree to take a two month sabbatical if White is named to play Brisbane on Thursday Jimmae.

He was playing ok by his lowly standards.

White may be dropped for balance, we will see.

Jimmae is trying to make out he wasn't that good today though when it was one of his best performances for the club

I was about to suggest a week.

Be happy with 8.

Jim, you have to sit it out if White retains his place?
