Apparently Kreuzer's knee is 'fixed', and it's just a mtter of whether he can play through (probably severe) discomfort.

Casboult doesn't have a broken leg; it's 'depressed'?

The turn around time is remarkable though. Did they drop some cash on some new inflammation recovery treatment and have him spend all his free time using it??

Kreuzer is back at the earliest convenience based on the initial reporting (2-4 weeks).

Why did we even bring Wood onto the senior list so soon if this was the plan and Wood's fitness was an issue?

Everything moved more quickly than expected.

If I understand the injuries correctly, they'll both be wearing braces if they play, and Casboult is at risk of arthritic damage to his knee (assuming this isn't a problem for him already).

Levi might have been non-operative, or at most they did an arthroscope and opted to do nothing more than clean up the area surrounding.

I'm not sure Kreuzer will play for another week for his injury and surgery. Casboult should be ok if it's not fractured though and may ruck with Gorringe if Kreuzer is out. Jaksch in for Jones, one will play for sure. You'd assume of those others on the bench Kerridge will play. Thought Byrne might too but seems maybe not.

Given the nature of the bench, re: fitness, I'd say someone in the actual selected 18 will miss, which is unusual but this week obvious so interesting to see who misses.

Maybe the match committee got confused and thought they were Beyond Blue rather than Bound By Blue?

What...did they X-ray Cas with a polaroid? Would love to know from any Docs or radiologists that may hang around here how they can give such a wrong diagnosis?

I reckon KJ is in, but wouldn't have a clue who drops out based on those wacko selections.

Dare i say it - I would leave Jones in.

He may not have set the world on fire, however he is trying and giving effort.

I'm tipping one of Cas or Kruez will play. I hate seeing White named at FF and Jaksch named on the bench. I bet KJ misses out again :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

A depressed fracture is still a fracture, but it can be too small a depression to concern a surgeon.

The bench is pretty obvious I would have thought: if Kreuzer plays, Gorringe goes; if Levi plays, Jones goes. Still might be Jones for Jaksch.

Credit to the Geelong Social Media team for that, they love to get stuck in

Big chance MK's knee will resemble a football after the game if he plays.

I just can't believe people saying that Walker can't be dropped because of the themed round. How ridiculous

Surely trying to trick the opposition into thinking Casboult is playing when actually he isn't would be seen as one of the biggest jokes of all time.

Must be actually going to play.

The clue was their injuries weren't 1-2 weeks...

Obviously neither Kruezer nor Casboult will play. Unless we were fed a complete misdiagnosis.
I wouldn't be surprised if Jaksch misses as well - receives a reward and recognition by being named but no clear vacancy - three candidates might be Everitt, white or walker.
Everitt does more good than bad, white did well with the job he was asked to do, walker - well, it is indigenous round and he would have been given a few rounds to find form so probably not this week (but would be a strong signal if he was dropped this week).
Also, good for Jaksch to be pushed towards long term consistent performance...

I agree but I think it says more about the proletariat's view of their masters and the devastation wrought by the last 20 years than anything I can think of.

We're battered and beaten.

if Kreuz played with the torn meniscus v port, should be pretty easy to play A week after surgery to repair the knee
