If we are to be any remote chance of winning, Wood has to come in.
We have a pretty good midfield but if we let their ruck run rampant like last week, goodbye nurse from the opening bounce.
Wood in, Rowe back, Gorringe has to stay in to support him so a tall will have to go. Maybe Walker or Everitt or White but White played pretty well last week.
I don't think Everitt will go as he is kicking goals so maybe Walker.
Can't see any other changes, although KJ must be close. and Tutt got 37 possies so maybe one of the mids is in trouble.
I don't think we can win but I do think we will fight it out if we can break fairly even in the middle.
Curnow to the danger man.
It's Indigenous Round, remember?
Walker survives BS...he's the face of our club for this event.
Lets hope he's been saving himself or rather building himself up for this game.
He really needs to perform this week. Nearly every supporter knows he is not earning his spot thus far.
Everitt is a goal kicker when we look for him. He's a rare commodity.
I think it is White who goes in this case.
Whilst he did hold Petrie goalless, we did lose by 10 goals.
That implies Petrie wasn't the go to man, and Petrie did fluff a few easy marks.
White had 2 kix, 6 HB, 1 contested possession, 2 uncontested marks, 62% efficiency.
White didn't set the world on fire, just his opponent didn't kick goals.
With Rowe going back obviously on Hawkins, Plowman can take the 2nd tall and Weitering 3rd tall.
Wood must lead the ruck. He's not fit enough to ruck all day so a 2nd ruck is required, pref not Rowe.
Gorringe doesn't really jump at the ruck contest, a bit like Kreuzer.
BIG question is whether Jaksch gets a call up. He would take Walker's or Gorringe's spot imo.
Walker seems safe this week, and Gorringe is required as a 2nd ruck and perhaps KPF role Jaksch would fill.
All eyes on Walker and Gorringe this week...if they are (reluctantly) selected.
