In light that we now know that Kreuz played out the 2nd half with a busted knee, and still managed to be one of the best on ground and kick the winning goal, his performance will surely go down in Carlton folklore.

Indeed!! Legend is K.

Dennis' handball

Did anybody notice Dennis' handball????

Haven't done my pros and cons post yet, but was going to mention the impact Armfield had on this win, and on previous wins prior to this game.
The way he took on the pack, weaved through to get that handball out. Typical Armfield!!!

He didn't make a mistake this game. His pace and desire are rare qualities. Much needed player in best 22.

I hope everyone takes note of Armfield's ability and development as a bona fide AFL player, and to his detractors I hope they realise he's been a gem in every way for us over the last 2-3 years and not the player he was when he started. Can kick, can run, can tackle, can fit into the Bolton game plan.

Armfield has always done this.
Unfortunately he was judged early in his career when he got caught htb against Sydney and we lost a final.

One mistake trying to break the lines is all it takes to create a whipping boy.

I reckon it is a testament to Jamo as a clubman and a guy- was happy for Simmo to have limelight but is the reason why he has played 150 for the club - the reason for years they kept rolling him out to take the press conferences when we lost - the guy is carlton through and through and has got the most out of himself and always thinks team

A real good Carlton person is Jamo will be sad to see him go - understand that last year after a bad loss eyeballed Henderson in front of whole group - wanting to know whether he wanted to be here or not - everyone knew the answer

Great sentiments Frank and Blue Vain, and that was my thoughts , that it came from Jammo himself . Has given so much , hope you can hang on just a little longer.

The other thing I'm loving is that we are no longer letting ourselves be pushed around. Blokes are making a stand for each other. Loved watching wee little Sumner giving it to them after his goal and then seeing our other players come in and help him out.

We've talked about this for years, but I think it's finally turning. Hawthorn have had us spooked for years, and others have picked up on it and followed.

What I like about it is that is genuine. It can't be farbricated like what Port tried to against Geelong as you come out of it looking ridiculous.

You need to have guys who want to go to battle for each other, but more importantly back up the bravado with tackles that hurt, a want for the contested ball, and to be prepared to go back with the flight when it's your turn and we've seen numerous examples of this the last few weeks. Without it "flying the flag" is just push and shove, with a heap of fines.

The great thing is that already this pre-season through actions and words our 2015 crop of draftees seems to have the same love for the jumper and each other to continue along the same lines.
