If you were at Crown Casino, Perth watching the game on the giant TV, that was me shouting at the end!

Let's celebrate this win for what it was, a gutsy effort that as others have said, may be a defining game in our rebuild
BUT
We have a long way to go. Guts and determination will not cut it at the top without elite skill levels from at least half the group to go with it.
I thought it was a great result and shows exactly what Bolts has done pulling the team together for each other.
One thing I really liked was the way he threw the team around when Levi went down and Krooz went off for a while.
We finally have a team that is never beaten. Two others have posted the real breakthrough truth in this thread. in times gone by, when were headed in the last by 18 points with ten to go it would have been panic stations and try not to get beaten by 50 points and that never-say-die can never be underestimated.

Pros:
On-field belief in the team and the system
Innovative, in-time coaching
Toughing it out and running at the end, despite having been down on rotations due to injuries
Kreuzer's bullocking work and finishing it off at the end when we needed him to dob it.
Gibbs improvement defensive work to complement his skills. He is probably in career-best form and I am happy to eat humble pie.

Cons:
Sometimes I wonder why Kreuzer's hitouts are so often to the advantage of the opposition. It is the weakness in his game.
Injuries may see massive changes for next week. I doubt Kreuzer or Cripps will come up and maybe Plowman will have bruised ribs.

I think we could win next if we had a full list. I hope they don't bring in Weitering too soon because of Levi's injury. I can see Rowe playing forward/ruck again unless they bring in Gorringe, who apparently hasn't been setting it on fire. If that happens, Weitering must come into contention.

Great time to be a blues supporter. We're on the up.

I missed the game as im in usa on business. ..snippets from the Internet looks like a very good win...4 on the trot is good, but if we want to get back to the halcyon days 4 in a row must be the norm...

gibbs gave out plenty too, it was heartening to see

Not just the handball but the evasive skills in heavy traffic to buy himself a little time.

The thing is, we are getting better as a team using measured handball to maintain quality possession.

It's great to watch.

and that's all down to confidence and the changing of the on-field culture... players are growing because they know everyone will go when their number is called and each to a man has their back when they do.

So they're willing to hold onto the ball a little longer to find the right option, rather than the 3 years of hot potato/ every man for himself we played under malthouse.

In light that we now know that Kreuz played out the 2nd half with a busted knee, and still managed to be one of the best on ground and kick the winning goal, his performance will surely go down in Carlton folklore.

Haven't done my pros and cons post yet, but was going to mention the impact Armfield had on this win, and on previous wins prior to this game.
The way he took on the pack, weaved through to get that handball out. Typical Armfield!!!

He didn't make a mistake this game. His pace and desire are rare qualities. Much needed player in best 22.

I hope everyone takes note of Armfield's ability and development as a bona fide AFL player, and to his detractors I hope they realise he's been a gem in every way for us over the last 2-3 years and not the player he was when he started. Can kick, can run, can tackle, can fit into the Bolton game plan.

I'm noticing a distinct lack of 'Hail Mary' kicks out of defense.
