Initially I thought the same thing, that it was somewhat disrespectful to someone who may not play many more matches for the club, but perhaps Jamison himself wanted it this way with the spotlight on Simmo instead of himself, he certainly spoke that way in his post match interview.

I'm guessing Jamison would have deferred to Simmo

Attended my first game for the year. I haven't heard a Carlton crowd roar the way they did in the last quarter in a very long time.

Watched the replay and you couldn't tell just how loud it was, incredible noise

I reckon it is a testament to Jamo as a clubman and a guy- was happy for Simmo to have limelight but is the reason why he has played 150 for the club - the reason for years they kept rolling him out to take the press conferences when we lost - the guy is carlton through and through and has got the most out of himself and always thinks team

A real good Carlton person is Jamo will be sad to see him go - understand that last year after a bad loss eyeballed Henderson in front of whole group - wanting to know whether he wanted to be here or not - everyone knew the answer

Well said Frank, I agree.
Although Jamison comes in for a lot of criticism, he's still shutting his player down. Unfortunately his skill set isn't capable of offering anything other than that and his body is deteriorating the longer his career continues. The rigours of AFL football. Its sad to see him just hanging on.

Thought Ed Curnow had another ripper game, he's an absolute workhorse who's learnt to keep his man quiet (Boak for most of yesterday) and then spread hard and accumulate the aggot..

It's going to be tight at the top of the b&f table at the minute.

Absolutely. A real Carlton man.

Loved the respect he has for the club and the Hendo thing almost seems like the line in the sand he drew.

Unfortunately for his body, we are going to need him again this weekend, if he can go around again.
It isn't fair to be needing him to put his hand up again given his body, but when he does decide to hang the boots, I hope we give him one last game to chair him off the ground and show our appreciation for his commitment and input to the club.

May happen in round 22. One more time for Jammo....and a thrilling inspiring enduring win against the much hated Bumbers...and the its finals I guess after that.

As I mentioned earlier, had to listen to the last 10 mins on the radio. Just watched the last few minutes and on the ground reactions from the replay. Lump in the throat stuff. Absolutely fantastic.

Took my kids to the game, along with mate I've been going to the footy with for years, who took his daughter to her first game. The next generation of supporters.

And with wins like that it can only bode well. My 6 year old son was supporting Port in the first half but by the end of the game he'd finally returned to the Blues. Just need to keep working on him.

Loved Cripps' spearing rugby tackle on the wing to put the ball out of bounds.

I had tickets but my son's game ran over. I would have got to the ground near half time. Decided to watch the game on TV. Spewing now

That was a bone cruncher. Tuohy and Gibbs layed some beauties as well.

The great thing about yesterday's win was that there was such an even spread of contributors. I didn't think we had the firepower but those last three goals all came from sheer hard work and working together. Great signs.

Just re-watched the last 10 minutes and the work-rate put in across the board was enormous. Kerridge really stepped when needed most and Plow's mark in front of the on-coming pack with aminute to go was pure guts.

The other thing I'm loving is that we are no longer letting ourselves be pushed around. Blokes are making a stand for each other. Loved watching wee little Sumner giving it to them after his goal and then seeing our other players come in and help him out.

Can't speak highly enough of Rowe's efforts, played great down back, in the ruck and up forward. Deserves much praise for being able to find his best form and be a true leader in the last couple of games.

No replay on the afl site yet. The six minute highlights didn't do it justice. Worst "We're going out for lunch, darling - hope you didn't have anything planned" timing ever.

Strange, the entire match is already up on the watchafl international service, I assumed the domestic service would be the same.

http://www.afl.com.au/livepass/faq
All match replays will be made available from the Videos section no earlier than 12 hours after the match has completed.

Wow, the international service is much better, I wonder why this is so? Technically there is no reason to delay that long as the watchafl quarter by quarter replays are up in less than an hour.

You guys should get a vpn service....
