Just loving seeing this club have 22 blokes who want to fight and scratch to the very end.

A year ago, 17 down with 10 mins to go, we'd have lost by 40+.

Hope those at the game gave it to Dixon well and good after his in your face when he kicked his last....

Steven O'Reilly was instrumental in that final play if memory serves :banghead:

Having said that...the Kreuzer comeback game at Football Park 2008. The 1 point win over there to get us into the finals 2013. And of course today....

Missed the first qtr due to my sons footy. Watched the second, third and half the last before heading to the WCE St K game. Listened to the rest of the game on the radio.

Still can't believe we won. Loved the effort but the bounce of the ball just seemed to go their way.

Like everyone, pretty @#$%&! proud of the boys and coaches right now. Proud as punch.

Seeing Simmos emotional reaction is really stirring stuff. Rapt for him. And Jamo.

Gutsy, gutsy win :smoking:

Thats four weeks in a row that ive ridden the wave of emotions to see a committed, hardworking and spirited TEAM. Sure there were glimpses in the first few rounds but its like something has clicked and the results have come.

With about 10 mins to go and we're 3 goals down, it was like something clicked in me and I had a belief they could do it. The last few years no way would I have contemplated that.

That siren went and I'm happy to admit I was crying, I was just beside myself with pride in my football club. Then we see the song and Simmo welling up, yep I started again! He is IMO the heart and soul of this footy club, just a true champion in every sense of the word. Senfloweringsational!!

I've never seen that before. Luckily I was traipsing around Europe so missed that one.

Haven't been that excited at a game for a long time. On a day where the bounce of the ball kept going their way, guys kept going down with injury, and all looked lost with 10 minutes to go, to kick the last 3 and win it was just unbelievable! Well done to every bloke out there today. Stirring stuff.

I'm genuinely scared we're rising too quickly but I am loving the ride we're on. I believe in Bolts. He is the best thing to happen to this club since Parko came back in 1991

Go Blues!!

Think parko first came in 1981 - along with bosustow, hunter and glascot - this year has the samwe feeling about it!!!

1981 was a little before my time... sure remember the return of the coach of the century though

We beat them narrowly last year too. We hadn't won a game in while either, I think.

That was just awesome , but I thought he was dead . Amazing he got up. 3 minutes later the Port player walked around him to goal, because he still couldn't move properly . All these players go when it's their time .

Probabaly been mentioned already, but then did the same thing again with a minute to go this time taking the mark in front of Dixon.

No replay on the afl site yet. The six minute highlights didn't do it justice. Worst "We're going out for lunch, darling - hope you didn't have anything planned" timing ever.

Strange, the entire match is already up on the watchafl international service, I assumed the domestic service would be the same.

http://www.afl.com.au/livepass/faq
All match replays will be made available from the Videos section no earlier than 12 hours after the match has completed.

Wow, the international service is much better, I wonder why this is so? Technically there is no reason to delay that long as the watchafl quarter by quarter replays are up in less than an hour.

You guys should get a vpn service....

Great win by the boys, they have a real sense of spirit and unity. Another couple of years of good recruiting and we'll be a force.

I got off the plane overseas and checked the scores, then checked Twitter and the photo too Simmo of Jamo told me Jamo is finished, but may have to keep playing now that Casboult is injured.

Thought Gibbs might get pinged for his tackle right in the dying seconds.

Attended my first game for the year. I haven't heard a Carlton crowd roar the way they did in the last quarter in a very long time. All that was missing was Princes Park Whistler. :smoking:
Why did we win, Intensity !!
Sustained intensity that unsettled Port to a degree. Some of the front on tackles were rugby league like. Stirring stuff to be sure to be sure.

Made the 6 hour round trip more than worthwhile.

Very well done Blues.

The great thing about yesterday's win was that there was such an even spread of contributors. I didn't think we had the firepower but those last three goals all came from sheer hard work and working together. Great signs.
