I keep thinking the hard surface of Etihad contributes to the sorts of injuries.

Also when Cripps hurt his knee I reckon his foot got caught in the grass to cause it to twist

What's with the "Hawthorn Blokes" and coaching? Parkin, Bolton......

Pros:
Docherty has been a fantastic pickup and is a very good footballer
Rowe played to the best of his ability and good on him
I thought Trengrove was giving Port to much drive but Kreuz turned it around big time
Gibbs has been my whipping boy for a long time but have loved the aggression he has showed of late
Have posted this in the past Everitt straightens us up. A bit more effort and he'd be pretty good.

Con:
Shit start time but not getting 30k in is disappointing
How do Power fans get tickets into the Carlton bays?

I was sitting there on level 2 with 10 ins to go, thinking how the hell can they possibly win this from here, we haven't done anything like that for yonks. Enjoyed a lot of what I had seen, thinking we won't get across the line. I do get a bit frustrated when we seem to hesitate and go backwards too much, I don't mind the new plan we we seem to play on a bit more, even if we do cough it up occasionally.

Well, the boys found a way. The tension kept growing in the stands and people were trying to find out how much time was left. lot of nail biting. A great win, lot of emotion for everyone. A lot of great contributors, pleased for them all. AW and Jamo a bit off still, Bolts was good on the news. Asked if he was surprised by the win. "No, not really, You get reward for hard work. Are we satisfied, no!" The man is an absolute breath of fresh air. Just wonder how Mick's feeling? Paraphrasing Python, "who cares?"

A test next weekend of course, a win would be unbelievable. Go Blues

I'm sure Mick would say what is going on now was part of his divine plan

Last season at 17 down with 7 minutes to go we would have ended up losing by 35 points.

He left us with a mini streak dynasty.

Absolutely. If I were a player Id attempt to sue for damages. It's an unsafe surface, the mud pit at Preston is far better!

AFLPA useless for real problems. Too interested in protecting drug cheats.

Or the AFL integrity department lol

Ask Andy Lee what Mick thinks. One of the funniest things I have ever heard.

Walker just looks out of touch and plain rusty. Stick with him and he will come good. He's to good not to.

Geez I hope that turns out true.

An in form Walker would add 3-4 goals per game.
Haven't seen that Walker this year.
He did I do a full preseason.

Fingers crossed.

Only played 3 weeks of it though and with a 6 week break you won't have seen it. Maybe later when he's fitter again.

We did comeback in 2014 against the Eagles that was pretty exciting. But agree we haven't had much to get excited about

Just so, so proud of the team. They just had no right to win that, fantatic effort, they just wouldn't lie down. The roar when we hit the front, then the roar when the siren sounded! Not ashamed to say I shed a tear as we belted out the song (several times).

This was a strange thing.. We were surrounded by Port supporters in the CC Carlton reserved seating area... There was a bit of general crowd baiting going on from some port supporters.

And carry on they did... I was thinking that they remind me of Essendon* supporters, very arrogant.

"Yous have won 3 in a row and you all carry on... who have you beaten? Essendon*, collingwood Femantle.. no one!! "

"Carlton people start yelling for their team now, where were you before..? all quiet before.. and now listen to ya!"

We have been watching the game.. you idiot!

I rarely feel uncomfortable at the football but today I felt a little menace.

Luckily we won and they shut up and disappeared quietly.

Walker might look cooked now, but watching the boys today, being a part of that amazing win for his mate Simmo, he'll be back, just like Rowe has been in recent weeks. Give him time. Walks will repay the faith shown in him. He has too much pride in himself and the jumper.
