Thoughts on how to record the game? I have an AFL live pass for phone / iPad but can't watch it live. No Foxtel or physical recorders. Happy to record on the iPhone if a suitable recording app can be suggested. How long before a torrent would turn up? Darn technology getting away from me.

You can watch it on the iPad after it's finished. They put up the whole game quarter by quarter.

Doesn't that still take about 12 hours to appear?

Once upon a time yes, but these days the first half is often up for replay before the match is finished.

So best plan is to start the replay as soon as you get home...

Sorry to drag this out. Great advice. How do I get to the video without spoilers on the rest of the site? Just use squinty eyes? @#$%&! this is tricky.

Practice bringing up the side menu and going to video while blindfolded

I've sleuthily solved it. Leaving the phone on the "Carlton Videos" section of the AFL site. Thanks dudes.

Hoping the ordinary performances are confined to VFL level...
The boys really should dig deep for Simmo and give Port nothing.

The big day has arrived.
I wish I was in Melbourne.
I hope its a huge turn out for Simmo's 250th and Jammo's 150th.

Just watched the highlights reel of these two great players.
Sent shivers up my backbone.
These two legends have been there throughout the dark years.

Come on Bluebaggers.
Come on Jammo. Get the most out of your body today and make it a win for the ages.
Simmo will have the whole team and footy community behind him.
There's enough motivation today to get us over the line.

I'd call it better insurance than having just White as the emergency on standby.

#doing it for Simmo.
not sure if we will win, but I feel like I am sure there will be 4 q. effort,
which is good enough for now.
