The Blueseum mentioned it hasn't happened since 2011, when we did it twice.

5 in a row hasn't happened since we won 13 in a row in 2000.

Port are flat track bullies
They whoop the bottom sides a lay down and cry against the top sides
Closest result either way this year has been 33 points

Correct - we managed 4 wins in a row twice in 2011:

And yes, 5 in a row hasn't been done since 2000:

Because he's not playing like Andrew Swallow

Mind you, even if he was, one Swallow doesn't make a Sumner

Pay that! Brilliant

Sumner won't be dropped. He's a beauty. Him and Lamb actually have some footy smarts. Something we have been lacking in our forward line since Betts left.

Agree with this, they put on pressure which doesnt allow the opposing team to just sweep it out easily like they have in the past

Midfield is the key this week vs Port... and of course Levi marking ( and scoring ) like he did this week is awesome!

You can feel the intensity building this week. Media all over the rise of Carlton.
Will be interesting to see how the players handle the expectations this week and more importantly, imagine the microscope on us if we beat Port going into the North Melbourne game. I'm excited to see how our boys handle the next 2 weeks!!
This is fantastic for our footy club and let's embrace it and have no more talk of 'high draft picks'.

Without stepping on bluemans toes..
This could go either way.

Port are crap and flat track bullies is accurate, but I wouldn't be surprised if we lose.

Port are a class above Collingwood.

Expecting we'll lose by 2-4 goals but another win is certainly not beyond our reach.

Confidence is a funny thing..

Apply a bit of pressure to Port and they'll fall apart. Ken Hinkley is Neil Craig 2.0, doesn't have a backup plan once the opposition get on top, too rigid in his game plan.

If we lose it will be by 6 or 7 goals. Once they get a hold they run over the top of you.
Same if they look like the game is gone they stop playing

If Robbie Gray is fit and comes into the team, it's going to be very hard to get over the top of them. Hinkley will want to build on their positive momentum and is eyeing to creep into the Eight.
Should be a very good hard game , Let's hope we can bring the points home a nd make it a big Quattro
but in the end I think Port will be too strong.

We managed to beat them last year when they were in arguably better nick than they are now, and we were in bloody awful form.
They might have thumped Brisbane, but I have a feeling their recent results are more to do with their opposition being rubbish than them being good.

I'd drop Jamo for another running-type... but after the Bullants result, I couldn't say who.

So what are we?
Those who will be flat track bullied?
or
A top side?

I am none the wiser at this point of the season.

I say a draw!!
